I want to play a Doctor Who Character!

Rory was humble, loyal, protective, and a bit sarcastic at times. He was timid in his first meeting with the Doctor. He was easily cowed by Dr Ramsden and terrified by the chaos surrounding the Doctor and Prisoner Zero. He still had the presence of mind to record evidence his comatose patients were strolling outside the hospital. He also helped Amy clear the hospital of patients before Prisoner Zero could kill them.
Rory also showed significant compassion and empathy. This sometimes put him in danger, as when he sympathised with Jennifer Lucas and when his first instinct was to help the broken, insane Daleks of the Asylum. He was often found caring for others, sometimes as a nurse, and sometimes just as the TARDIS crew member who stopped to help newcomers acclimate.
Because of how many times that he's nearly died, (TV: The Impossible Astronaut, The Curse of the Black Spot, The Doctor's Wife, The Almost People, A Good Man Goes to War, Let's Kill Hitler, Night Terrors, The Girl Who Waited, The Wedding of River Song, Asylum of the Daleks), or HAS died (TV: Cold Blood, The Angels Take Manhattan) and came back some way, Rory was overconfident about coming back from death.
In Venice, Rory was unnerved when the Doctor and Amy wanted to return to the Saturnyn stronghold, yet he grew in bravery. He challenged Francesco to protect Amy. When he saw Francesco had attack a girl, his immediate reaction was to see if she was all right. He took a lethal Silurian energy beam meant for the Doctor, albeit pointlessly as the Doctor would have disabled it with the sonic.
Rory was stubbornly devoted to Amy. Perhaps the greatest testament to this was his willingness as an Auton to guard Amy in the Pandorica for almost two thousand years. He would perform great feats of courage out of love for Amy and go to any length when angry. He destroyed all but one of the Twelfth Cyber Legion's ships to find where Amy was held captive and as an Auton, punched the Doctor when he was grieving over shooting Amy. Although he remained aghast at the risks he was forced to take, his reflexive behaviour was heroic.
At first, Rory was jealous of Amy's infatuation with the Doctor and uneasy at her obsession with him when she was little, and, unlike her, was completely faithful, not even wanting a stripper at his stag party. However, after the Dream Lord's challenge, Rory became more comfortable with the Doctor's presence in their lives, trying to have civil conversations with him and helping in TARDIS maintenance.He put up with the occasionally troublesome natures of Amy and the Doctor.

Rory was very loyal to the Doctor, whom he trusted with his life. (He was devastated when it appeared the Doctor was dead and when Idris' body died; not only were they his friends, he was a nurse and they were his patients.

Rory was a quick learner. When confronted with the necessity of riding a motorcycle for the first time to follow River Song, he sourly noted that it was "one of those days" and did so. He was one of the few people to not freak out on entering the TARDIS for the first time, remarking he had done some reading on the theory. When he was put inside the Teselecta he concluded it was a miniaturisation ray simply because they were smaller and it was a ray.
History:

Rory was bought up in Leadworth along with Amelia and Melody, he was subject to many games where he was forced to play as 'The Doctor' for Amy's entertainment as children.
As they grew up he and Amy became more close, and he was completely devoted to her even though at this point she thought that Rory was gay because he didn't pay attention to girls (because he fancied her). They did end up together in marriage, though.

Once was an Auton, though he is now completely human.

In her first incarnation as the 'little girl', Melody was shy, innocent and terrified of the "monsters" who had trapped her in the spacesuit. A later incarnation, 'Mels', was saucy, often in trouble and chased by police just before her regeneration. She resented the Doctor and blamed him for historical disasters, but wanted to marry him. Mels also liked to use the phrase "penny in the air...and the penny drops", when people around her realised something.

In her last incarnation, River was very strong-willed; though brainwashed and raised to kill him, she decided the Doctor was "worth it" and saved his life, giving up all her regenerations to do so. She resisted the upgraded astronaut suit and refused to kill him, heedless of the consequences.

River was frisky and cheeky like her mother, Amy. Like her father, Rory, she was stubborn, responsible and fiercely compassionate. She enjoyed showing off for the Doctor. She teased him and liked using the word "spoilers" whenever the subject turned to the Doctor's future. She kept her diary from him and hid that his death at Lake Silencio was a hoax from everyone except her parents. River occasionally visited Amy and Rory after they found out that she was their daughter.

River seemed at ease with being kept in prison much of her life for a crime she didn't commit and often flirted with the guards or made jokes about the facility, even once stating that she was "breaking in not out" which seemed to be a subtle taunt to the security of what was supposed to be an extremely secure prison. She was able to escape from prison "as though the walls aren't there" according to the Doctor. Nevertheless she did work towards earning a pardon, eventually succeeding when the Doctor deleted records of himself from the Universe.

River loved flirting with people and was constantly hitting on the Doctor, although she also had a tendency to flirt with other people such as prison guards and Hitler's soldiers. She often greeted the Doctor with the words "Hello Sweetie". She was also rather vain, believing that her cleavage "could fell an ox at twenty feet".

River was very confident in her abilities and she was very hard to intimidate, showing no fear when faced with the Weeping Angels, the Silence or the Vashta Nerada. She was also very good at hiding her emotions, and didn't like to show weakness. She was devastated when her parents were stolen by a Weeping Angel but unlike the Doctor she encouraged Amy to go to be with Rory and didn't break down after the Angel transported Amy away, showing a far greater level of self control than her husband.

River was deeply in love with the Doctor, even though she had been raised to kill him. She teased Madame Kovarian about the mistake she made by kidnapping her since Kovarian was partially responsible for her falling in love with the Doctor in the first place. In her younger years, River was rather selfish since she was willing to sacrifice the entire Universe in order to protect the Doctor. However as she matured she grew into a much more selfless person and showed a willingness to sacrifice herself, eventually giving her life to save the Tenth Doctor.

River shared the Doctor's habit of avoiding answering a questions by answering a previous question. Like her mother, she was able to follow the Eleventh Doctor's train of thought so well that she could explain it to others.

River had varying opinions of the Doctor's earlier selves. She didn't like the First, Second, Sixth, and Ninth Doctors; she got along with the Third, Eighth, and Tenth Doctors; and she remained somewhat neutral about the Fourth, Fifth, and Seventh Doctors, just voicing her shock at some of the traits they had.

History:

Melody Pond's birth was a rather unusual one, as her mother had been kidnapped for the child. She was raised to be a psychopath to kill the Doctor, though in an ironic twist she ended up falling in love with him and marrying him instead.
When she first met the Doctor, it was the day she died where he restored a back up of her in a gigantic library.
It is very confusing, her time line and history.

John looked at the floor, feeling left out. This usually happened with Sherlock, sure, but... It still hurt a bit to get left out all the time. He sighed then slowly followed Sherlock into the TARDIS, and his eyes widened. "What the..." He gasped. "This is impossible." He muttered. "A time machine, that's.. Alive. Wow. Well, that's new." He mumbled. It might be a nice topic for his blog, as they hadn't had a real interesting case in a while. He walked around inside the TARDIS, still a little shocked. He rolled his eyes at his friend's comments. He always talked like this. "Sherlock... Watch it. This isn't yours, remember?" He knew Sherlock had a tendency to... well, BORROW things, without asking.

"Oi! Do not steal my stolen TARDIS," the Doctor reprimanded them. Then he smiled at Rose, somewhat sadly, since he could sense that she didn't see him in the same way... and looked at Molly. "The name's Doctor. The Doctor." He grinned at bit, because she'd said "Doctor who," and of course that made him irrationally happy. "And you must be Dr. Watson," the Doctor decided, after glancing at the other man who had walked into the TARDIS.

"That would be me. John, unimportant, Watson." He muttered a bit more loudly than he intended. Fine, he was in a foul mood. He usually sank into one whenever things like this happened and his best friend wandered off into his own thoughts, leaving him and mostly everyone else behind.

The Doctor glanced at Watson and frowned. "You'd be surprised," he said quietly. "Never met an unimportant person before." He then turned back to the others, watching their reactions to the TARDIS. "It's a lot bigger than just this, you know," he said, prepared to show off his TARDIS.

John sighed. "You haven't met me, then." He mumbled. Sherlock never usually thought he was important, which was hard for him. He was his best friend, and it's hard to be almost always ignored by your best friend. "How do you mean, there's more?" He asked, his curiosity getting a hold over his sulkiness.

"Sure, you're important," Clara consoled Dr Watson. "Everyone's important in some way or other." She smiled. "Oh, yeah. So much bigger, I thought I'd gone mad the first time I saw it." She remembered the occasion fondly.

"Yes, that and more," the Doctor said, remembering the occasion less fondly. "Would you like to see some of it? Without wandering off, that is? Because trust me, you will get lost." The Doctor pretty much accepted as a fact that Sherlock would likely wander off and get lost, but for some reason, he wasn't too bothered by this fact. Perhaps it was because Sherlock would probably find his way back quite easily.
