I don't think it's so much a matter of them being "too busy", but perhaps the store pets being released a bit late is a way to fill the first few days of the months that have no growths?
Either way I don't particularly care haha but I don't understand why everyone is saying that they're too busy to release them.

Anyways, if they're released after the monthly adopts every time, wouldn't releasing them with the monthly adopts count as being released early?

I don't really keep track of store pets so if they aren't usually released after the monthlies forgive me ahha.

No, they're supposed to be released on the first^^
But for whatever reason they keep being released late on a regular basis.

Does anyone else think that this months's rats are somewhat similar to May's pony newborns? They look almost exactly the same, just without the red inside o.o Please don't tell me we're getting shrimp rats this time...

Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of Dance Dance Revolution when they saw the new puppies! (gah, they're only a day old and I already can't wait for them to grow up OTL)

Personally, I like your theory, Alexis! They're just too awesome to release right away!

Myself, I think the new rats look sort of like they're made of ice...not quite as translucent or sci-fi looking as the ponies were. But that's just my take on them XD It'd be a little weird to release ice-themed pets in June!

The store pets have been released on the first for the last three updates (6 months) so I don't know about this being a "regular" thing. The store pets being released more than a few hours after the regular adopts is slightly unusual. But we're sure to get the explanation when they do come out.

They do look like ice. I would like to have ice rats, I think they would be cute, but I doubt they would release them in June. :3 Do they remind anybody else of the Drink Me or Waterbowl dogs?
