Honeyfeather growled,
"Just because we get shut up in here doesn't mean we don't get to rest. I have more strength than you think,"
she spat the last word out like it was crowfood.

"I'm gonna get you out of there." Blaze whispered to her, looking out for Mousekit and Crowkit. There they were, waiting to tell him if there were any warriors wandering over towards his hiding place. "I'm gonna get out of here too, and Crowkit and Mousekit are gonna come with us." He continued, still whispering. His voice was filled with excitement, and his face lit up. "We're gonna find a way out of here and then we're gonna get you. We'll be apprentices soon, and then we'll be able to get out of here."

Mousekit looked left and right, keeping an eye out for any warriors going near Greenpaw's cage. If they did, then he would yowl a warning and pretend to trip up. It was what they had planned on.

Crowkit caught her brother's eye, and they communicated through eye movements. Then, a black warrior caught her eye. He was going to Greenpaw's cage! Yowling with a playful ring to it, she ran straight in front of him and ran to chase Mousekit. The two of them ran around the tom, giving Blaze time to get hidden better.

Pebblekit heard the distinctive yowl of her sibilings in the she-cat cages, and sprang to her feet with a purr. She would go play with hem, instead of mess with grumpy Brambleheart! The little kit raced as fast as her small legs could carry her and almost bowled into Blaze, her brother. Crowkit and Mousekit seemed to be having fun, but Blaze seemed to be talking to a measly slave. "Blaze!" she squealed, her whiskers twitching. "What are you doing?"

Storm Star purred ominously. "Oh, I wouldn't be so sure! Surely, not feeding you should zap your strength?" he inquired, somewhat viciously, obviously implying that she was weak. "Why, my name is Honeyfeather and I'm oh-so-weak! Hoo-hoo-hoo! WAHHHHH!" He did a whiny imitation of Honeyfeather's voice. She was sure to give up now!

Hawkfang padded over to Eagle. "Would you like to go learn how to train slaves today?" he asked. "We can train on an apprentice slave; in fact, I know just the very one!" He threw back his head and laughed evilly, just for good measure.

Greenpaw listened closely to Blaze. "Umm, okay...," she whispered. "But won't you be imprisoned, too, should you be caught?" she inquired.

Honeyfeather snarled,
"You win..."
Even though her voice sounded brave, she was terribly frightened, her fur fluffed up and her ears back against her head. She pressed herself harder against the wall, and turned her head away from the direction in which her tormenter's voice was coming from.

Heartpound got up from her meal, yawning and stretching out her body like a pampered Spynix. "Hmm..." She muttered to herself, surveyinng the camp for a good partner to do some good beating with. "Falconpaw!" She yowled, padding over to the Apprentince with a grin. "Wanna go beat some slaves? I could show you how to have some true fun."

Falconpaw spied a rabbit. SHe flattened out and pounced. The rabbit seemed shocked, it didn't dare to move. "Gotcha!" she cried with a smile. Suddenly she heard her name. She ran toward the sound. SHe stopped in front of Heartpound. "Yes? I didn't quite catch what you needed to say."
