• • • I grinned smuggly as his scent and sounds vanished. My heart froze withhatred. And just before I bounded after that dumb little rogue, I gave a small chuckle. Evil, edged with ice. So I bounded after the tom, barely hearing his paw steps through the rain. But I ound my way and before I knew it his rrevolting scent was there gain. But I veered away before Frostclaw saw me. I slowed to a stop and sniffed the air. It took a moment, but eventually I scented a mouse. I got down quietly. Through my accurate hearing, I made sure I made no noise what so ever. The scent grew stronger, but, if it was pouring rain, why would the scent be so strong. Closing my eyes a gave a sniff. No. A mice nest. I grinned and ever so silently I crept foward. There it was, I could almost pin point the entrance with the sence of smell. I unsheathed my claws and pounced. My paws seemed to land in a dendt in the grround. A rush of succes swept through me and in minutes I had three mice. Only minutes it took for me to return to Frostclaw. With the three mice dangling from my claws, I let my ice eyes flicker the way of his scent. I grinned, baring my white teeth. Take that! I thought silently.

Gingerspots hissed, frightened a little. She was a little surprised at how angry Rivershade could be. When Frostclaw accepted, she sighed shaking her head. But when Frostclaw left, she gasped happily and refreshed. She hissed again in annoyance as Rivershade actually meant what he said and followed Frostclaw and went to hunt. "Who knew?" she asked herself quietly.

Tanwypaw's eyes widened in terror as he heard the fear in Eaglestar's voice. It must be something awfully horrible to scare Eaglestar like this! he thought in horror. He bolted for the closest bush and hunkered down amongst its thorny branches.

Falconclaw finally clawed the fisher across the eye and it ran off. Then she stumbled back towards the camp, she was bleeding heavily and pain filled every movement. At last she stumbled into camp, " Help" she called weakly before falling to the ground.
