Aria looked over at Kylar, studying his face for a moment. She loves him... she won't ever stay away for long. She smiled. "Erik, I promise, she'll come around. Are you okay?"

Erik nodded, "Just worried.' he replied softly as he finished up the food.

[Shellpepper]

Aria nodded. "Anything I can do to help?"

"Just rest there." he said softly.

[Shellpepper]

She sighed. "You lot are all too giving," she said.

"How so?" Erik asked as he looked at her, he sat down at the table and waited.

[Shellpepper]

"No matter what's happening, somebody in our group always ends up self-sacrificing. And no matter who it is, he or she pretty much does it with out complaint." Aria shook her head. "It sounds admirable, but then I just think about all the sacrifices I've made and that've been made for me and I wonder... When will it stop?" Her face seemed deep in thought now, far away. "I mean... It doesn't sound like fun to spend my whole life giving, or my whole life taking. So... what's the point?" Her thoughts weren't particularly coherant, she knew, but at the same time they made perfect sense in her drugged, tired state.

Erik shrugged, "I guess it just needs to balance, in the end we do it for the ones we love." he said softly.

[Shellpepper]

Aria sighed. "Yes... I suppose you're right," she said with a smile. She looked at Kylar. "I think I'd do anything for him, Erik. Anything at all. Is that what love is?"

Erik smiled and nodded softly, "exactly." he replied as he looked at her.
