He watched his sister, her shirt tail twitching. He looked at his mom and smiled.

"But the thing is, will I be good enough? Sure I can do the whole protecting part, but the caring part is rather difficult for me." Flexing his claws Dagger flicked his ears back, his narrowed in concentration.

"To me, you'll always be good enough." She said with a smile.

Scoffing quietly amused Dagger looked up at her. "How do you do it? How are you able to think so positively about me in everyway possible? Isn't there anything that you don't like about me?"

She shook her head, "Your prefect just the way you are." She said and licked his nose.

Blushing slightly Dagger was at a loss for words. He figured that it wouldn't hurt to at least step out of his comfort zone and give Jinx a chance, even if he didn't feel exactly the same. Maybe he could learn to feel the same.

She smiled ay him, "Now, let's get you a treat to celebrate!" She smiled, leaping into a dumpster.

"T-to celebrate what?" Fighting to push back down the blush Dagger stood up and watched her.

She tossed out a chicken leg, "Just because!" She purred.

Eying the chicken for a moment Dagger crouched down and took a bite. "Alright, no point in turning down free food."
