Feather sat bored. "There is nothing to do..."
She looked around and saw a beautiful rainbow macaw flying ahead. She stared at it in awe. As one of its feathers dropped down she raced to grab it. She held it in her hooves with amazement. Katrielle, the bully at her school shoved her down and stole the feather. Filly Feather Creme didn't know what to do. "Hey, give that back! That's mine!" She hollered, but she was gone. She spent hours trying to find the rainbow macaw, but it was nowhere to be found.
The next day at school, Feather saw Katrielle with the feather on a necklace, and yanked it off. She then ran to class.
Her parents got mad at her for stealing another girls necklace. She tried to explain that she got the feather from a rare rainbow macaw, but they would not believer her. The next day at school, her father forced her to return the necklace to Katrielle. "Hah, that what you get when you steal things that are not yours." She said to her. "Look who's talkin' " Feather grumbled to herself.
Next year, Feather and Katrielle became best friends. Kat gave her the necklace back, and helped her with her feather collection. Feather knew that she finally had somepony to rely on. But little did she know the danger that lie ahead. She gave Katrielle a house key to her house, and she said that she 'lost' it, and then years later, when Feather was on vacation, she went into he house and trashed it, she also stole Feather's collection of feathers, and her most prized possession, a picture of her dead grandma. When Feather and her family returned to her house they all were astonished. "Who could have done that?" She gave Feather that 'stony stare' look. "IT WAS YOUR STUPID BIRD!" She yelled. Feather knew that Aretha would never do such a thing, Aretha was a very calm and sweet bird. "YOU GET RID OF THAT BIRD RIGHT NOW, BERT!" Her mother screamed at her father. He went into Feather's room and took Aretha's cage and threw her and the cage out. Teenage Feather left the house to find Aretha. After days of searching, she found her bird, still in her cage, at a dumpster. She took her out of her cage, and went to her new apartment. She had to keep Aretha in the closet, because of the "No pets allowed" rule. Thats where Feather is today, remembering the scars of her past. She dances and sings in her free time, or plays with Aretha.
