Melons docked tail was drooped down. She looked at Ink. She sniffed him all over. <Shadow Pack?> she scratched into the dirt <I can tell, I have a good nose.> she sighed <You're Ink's son aren't you?> She sat and whiped tears away with her right tan-coloured paw.

'Yes' Ink slowly scratched in to the ground, 'Are you oky?' He quickly crossed out the last word and put 'Okay?' instead.

Melon nodded <I'm fine> she sniffed the air and swore underher breath. She could smell Rekuta close by. She wiped away their conversation with her paw until it looked like dirt again. She grabbed Ink by the scruff and shot through the bushes like a bullet following her nose. She found the border of Shadow pack and placed Ink on his side. <Here your home now follow your nose back to your camp, if your found on our side again they will discover you are Ink's son and I will not save you next time!> she scratched.

'But I can't stay with them, all they do is fite all the time. I fel off of a cliff and hurt myself, but when I walked off nobody stopped to think 'oh no he mite die' or anything. They think just because I'm deaf and cant talk that I'm stupid, and becuase I'm 'Oh my god the son of Ink' that I'll pull through every time there's an attack...' Ink wrote carefully, trying his hardest not to make any spelling mistakes, which he still did anyway.

Melon licked all the mud off of Ink. <Well I care, and I'm sure someone in your pack does too!> she smiled and wiped it the converstaion away after she knew Ink had read it. She licked his head one last time and bolted back to her camp. She caught Rekuta's scent and turn. She ran and jumped out of the bushes tackling him "Gotcha Rekuta!" She laughed back to her usual, Rekuta stalking self. She giggled and sat on him."WOAH! Look at the veiw!" she laughed in her happy manner.

Ink watched Melon run off, then limped back to the Dawnplace as quickly as he could. He went in the opposite direction to last time and started to climb up the big mountain, being careful not to slip and fall. The injured pup got higher and higher until he was on the highest point and sat on the rocks that were right at the top. You could see everything from there- The forest, the sea, everything. He could even see Yara and the Leader facing each other. Goodbye... He thought sadly. ...I'll miss all of you... The orphaned pup sighed and limped along the mountain until he was close to the sea, which was right on the edge of the Dawnplace. He was going to jump.

Melon sparkling eyes dulled and she slid off and sat beside him. "What's wrong Rekuta?" she asked, geniunely concerned for her crush. She looked at him and waited.

"Noth-" Rekuta stopped when he saw a small figure on the mountain. It looked like it was about to jump in to the sea. "Can you see that?.."
