There had always been two packs in the Chessta lands. Ever since anyone could remember, what people don't remember however is how the two packs came to be, now. You see, There was once, a long, long time ago only one pack. That pack consisted of two sets of Alpha, strange, yes. But they had grown up together and didn't want to be apart. These four great alphas were named after the seasons Spring paired with Autumn, and Summer with Winter. That is, until one day it was shown that two of the four alpha were being unfaithful. Spring had been going behind Autumn's back and meeting Winter. This left all four Alpha's distraught when their secret was finally outed, it was the end of a steady truce. Spring and Winter were outcasted and sent from the Chessta lands and two new packs were formed, one led by the mighty Autumn, dependable, down to earth but somewhat frosty. Autumn's pack was to be passed through the ages, and soon came to be known as Macheide Pack. Wolves in the Macheide pack were known for their strength and bravery, they're excellent in the battlefield and near invincible adversaries.

Now, Spring had different ideas, she wanted her pack to be known for their swiftness and agility, Spring herself was known as one of the fastest wolves to ever exist, this is a trait that has been passed through her bloodlines and so is born into most wolves in the pack she created, her pack became known as Caïssa Pack. The two packs have thrived seperately, both founders vowing that they would never, ever mix the packs. However, the young fledglings are becoming restless, they want to explore. They want to get to know the wolves of the opposing pack, what will happen if bloodlines mix? What lengths will the wolves go to to prevent the uneasy truce between the two packs, mating season is coming up soon and that means that the younger wolves will be ready to start their own families. It's make or break for the two packs, it's the reckoning, but will it be Checkmate?

Villi was named to become one of the fiercest warriors of his Pack, but once his sister was banished, he too ran away, Villi is playful and a massive goofball, however.. Don't think he's a pushover because he would do anything to protect his sister, he thinks the world of her and if a brute wants to get near her he better watch out! Especially since she had such a rough past. He is peaceful by nature.Though mostly peaceful and calm, Primarily Villi is a fierce fighter. He finds those who threaten pups intolerable, Villi cares deeply for pups and often puts their well-being before his own. Villi has a vivid imagination and a positive effect on his fellow packmates, with all of whom he holds a beloved and deep friendship. Villi can mistakenly take things literally. He also dislikes it when no one seems to notice or understand him when he's trying to communicate.

When Villi first arrived to Pack he found it incredibly tough to fit into Pack life, He felt lonely and just didn't have his normal playful aura, however when he started to throw himself into his duties he found himself starting to fit into the Pack more and starting to make friends, he was happy and he was popular among the Pack.

Villi has a pelt as dark as the midnight sky at witching hour. It seems impossible how dark it is. His build is wiry, yet tough. He's quite large even for a brute and his pelt is short, so he gets none of his size from his fur. He has glimmering amber eyes which are a stark contrast to his dark pelt. He has only one scar which wraps from his shoulder to his underside which he obtained from an abnormally vicious elk.

On the surface Vaara will come across as anti-social, cold, abrasive and just darn right rude, her past has taught her to keep up a facade so that no wolf takes advantage of her. However when you start to melt her walls of ice you will find that Vaara is in fact a girly girl. She wants nothing more than a loving mate and a little family of her own, she's very dreamy and is often accused of being away with the fairies, well, as soon as she's comfortable around someone, because unless she's comfortable, she's totally neutral and expressionless, she's somewhat insecure and always feels she needs to strive to be the best that she can be.

Vaara and her brother Villi were rogues for a long time before they found the Pack, she was framed in her former Pack by the brute she thought was her best friend one day when the pack was out hunting, a few pups went missing right under the nose of their Mother, when the pack returned the pup's mother panicked and the pack was sent as a search party to find the pups, Vaara had realised that her best friend hadn't been in camp and so when searching for the pups she decided that she would try and find the brute, she found him, and he was with the pups.. But two of them were dead. She confronted the brute with anger and he fought with her for a bit, the brute then howled to alert the rest of the pack to their whereabouts. When the pack arrived Vaara had the remaining pup in her jaws to protect it from the brute, but he told the pack that she had killed them, his word carried more weight than hers and so she was condemned as a murderer and was banished from that pack, her brother came after her and they travelled through the wilderness together. She won't take a mate for a long time, If a male manages to melt her heart, she will make a loyal and loving mate.

Vaara's pelt is a gorgeous white. Her pelt is not short, but not entirely long, she finds it often rather hard to cope with the density of it, particularly when it's raining. She has a lean, slight body, she has no visible scarring. Her eyes are a leafy green and made more vibrant only when she is happy. Vaara is fairly smaller than the average fae, even at her young age - but she is surprisingly tough and never one to back down from a fight.
