Midnight barked happily at the attention, leaning into Keira's touch and wagging her tail. She really, really liked having all these nice people around! She loved the attention, and it was lots and lots of fun to explore. Plus, this room lead to a lot of other rooms, which were really big, too! She loved this place - it's very exciting.

Adelade smiled, a breeze in the console room. She materialized - half way - so she was a transparent form. Sort of ghost-like, ragged silk clothing adding to the whole thing. She thought carefully about changing her clothes, but refused the idea. After all. . .that wasn't really a thing she could do anyway, as a spirit. She floated carefully away from everyone else, just observing. After all, she was supposed to be in a jar. In the library. She figured, if anything were to happen, she could disappear from view and abscond from the area, back to the library in a very low amount of time.

Alice looked at the girl talking to her and backed up just as everyone ran in. "I go to fix something and you end up getting kidnapped by space pirates, Doctor." She said setting the crowbar down and looked at everyone. "Well, I see you're all okay, so that's good." SHe said with her thick Scottish accent. She walked over to The Doctor. "Well, I fixed the one broken wire and leaky pipe, anything else, Doctor?" She asked staying a few good feet away from him.

"No, that's all! Don't even think about fixing that chameleon circuit! I know you want to. " The Doctor replied.

The Doctor smiled back at his daughter, turned back to the console, set the time and date of their destination, and started the engines. They landed in the middle of the second great war, just after a bombing, with little shaking and rumbling in the TARDIS. The Doctor ran to the doors and opened them. Looking out, he saw that they'd landed right near a camp. The place was apparently deserted, although he saw a few people around. There were large flames a mile or so away in one direction, but otherwise the place didn't look too bad. He stepped outside, "Well? What're you all waiting for?!" he called.

Claire stopped talking to the blonde, Scottish girl and looked around as everyone else dashed into the TARDIS. Evidently, the negotiation with the space pirates hadn't gone well. Claire smiled when Cas decided to go to World War Two. That was Claire's favorite time period...to study, at least. And now she'd actually get to experience it! The nerd in her jumped up and down in excitement. She fought to keep it from coming to the surface and actually jumping like the Easter Bunny on a sugar rush. To suppress her excitement, she found something calming to do: join the girl with the fiery tattoos in stroking Xavia's puppy. Claire smiled at the girl. "I don't believe we've formally met," she said. "I'm Claire Ashdown." She suddenly spotted something...someone...ghost-like. Not just ghost-like, an actual ghost. A girl maybe about her age, dressed in tattered silk. Great, now I'm hallucinating? This better not happen all the time to Time Lords, Claire thought. She blinked and went back to playing with the puppy. Then, the TARDIS was set in motion. Then, it landed. That was...an experience. The Doctor walked outside and yelled back to the girls, "Well? What're you all waiting for?!" Claire grinned and stood up. "Absolutely nothing!" She replied. She stepped outside and her grin faded a little as she saw the results of what had to be a bombing nearby. Then the grin returned, in full force. "We're in WWII!" Claire marveled. "We're actually in WWII!"

Xavia grinned, dashing after her father. "Oh, I do love this time period!" She hugged the Time Lord's arm, looking around with bright eyes. "I've missed you." The Time Lady said quietly, "Being stuck on Earth was pretty boring. Nothing to do! Couldn't go to Torchwood, ugh, the attention I'd get. UNIT would want me to work for them and be all...domestic."

Elizabeth watched from afar. She walked inside the console room, still lingering near the back. Wait until everyone left then watch from afar still. She could see out of the doors, and all she could see were flames out there. She hoped it wasn't too bad.

Scott somewhat sleepily shuffled down a corridor after a slight shaking of the TARDIS. "Hey, what just hap- woah, ok." He stopped in the arch of the hallway, staring at all the new faces. "Um... Doctor?" He ran a hand through his hair somewhat embarrassed. "When and where are we, and what just happened?" He asked, watching the man, who was looking out the doors of the TARDIS.

"Keira." She replied to Claire and smiled up to her before rubbing behind the puppy's ear, then looking towards the Doctor, who had opened the doors. Curious, she peeked over his shoulder in disbelief. How are we here? Weren't we just...? The phoenix shook her head, not knowing quite what to make of it, but going along with it for now. She had heard stories a about such ships, but that's all they were to her; stories. She slid her hands in the coat pockets and felt something. Keira pulled her hand back out, holding what looked like an identification card, but it was blank. Her head tilted slightly and she studied the blank white paper, wondering what it was doing in the Doctor's pocket.

Midnight followed Xavia, tail wagging happily. When she neared the outside, it smelled like flames, and it made her nose scrunch up in distaste. Why was it so smoky? She barked at the glowing light of the fire, the unpleasant smell of smoke plauging her nose.

Adelade followed quietly, still transparent as she continued. Oh, she thought, World War II, my, my. she smiled, blue eyes training the fire. Well this will be fun. She loved to explore, which she didn't get to do much of. This would certainly be the experience. Being trapped in a jar wasn't exactly a travelling environment. The smell of smoke was overpowering, and she couldn't help but feel the scene as familiar.

Alice walked out slowly and looked around and then the scent hit her like a rock. Gun smoke, cannon fire, dead bodies. She looked at The Doctor and then back to the distant field. "It's so.....dead." She said looking around the new land with hidden emotion.
