Maria screamed. "Daddy!" She ran to him, kneeling next to him.

Mya called 911. "Mason," she said, sitting by him, too.

Mason moaned. "I'm okay guys." He said, struggling to breath.

Maria sobbed. "No, you aren't," she said. "You can't even get a good breath, Daddy," she cried.

Mya was crying into the phone. "An ambulance is coming," she said.

Trinity ran to Jacks. "My Papa!" she cried.

Mason closed his eyes.

Jackson held Trinity to him. "He'll be okay."

(Mason won't die.)

Maria shook her head. "Daddy, no! Wake up," she sobbed.

The ambulance got there, and the EMTs rushed in.

Mason didn't answer Maria.

Jackson pulled Maria into him. "It's okay, shhh."

They put him on a stretcher, and took him.

Maria cried into Jackson. "No, he can't be gone," she said.

Mya got up. "Guys, c'mon. I'll see if we can ride with them," she said, and went down to the EMTs, asking.

Jackson rubbed her back. "He's not. I promise."

"Your husband will be okay, and you can ride down with him." The EMT said.

Maria nodded, and walked down with him and Trinity, getting in with Mya.

Trinity cried. "I want my Papa sing," she whimpered.

Mason looked at Trinity, and started singing. He gasped for air between each phrase.

Jackson held Trinity, rubbing her back.
