Mason grabbed his keys, leaving with Minka.

Jackson smiled, walking out of the room with her. "You two are so weird." He said.

Chloe looked at Myles. "You best be ready to pay up!"

Maria laughed. "Well, we're best friends. You can't expect us to be normal," she said. She looked out the window, and sighed. "Why does he leave every time something doesn't go right?" she asked, more to herself.

Myles laughed. "Hey, it hasn't happened yet," he said.

Jackson rested his chin on her head. "You okay?" He asked, wrapping his arms around her waist. He kissed her head, softly.

Chloe chuckled. "They have a while."

"Yeah... It's just," she sighed. "Dad left. He made that whole big deal about not being there for me, and then he leaves," she said, digging her head in his chest.

Jackson kissed her head. "I'm still here." He said, pulling her closer to him.

Jackson rubbed her back. "I'd like to see this awesome treehouse everyone is raving about." He said. "And no it's because I want Chloe to win the bet. Truthfully, I've never done it before, and I want to wait." He said. "Until you're better." He said.
