"I should have been able to smell the smoke, and notice something was wrong." He sighed.

Mya sighed. "I never smelled it, either. He had to be hiding it really well, because the smell makes me throw up."

"It's okay. I was just joking around, and the money I give him will end up going to the twins." Chloe chuckled. "We need to do movie night with the kids tonight."

Maria nodded. "If it's alright with Jacks and Trinity we could do it tonight," she said. "I'm sure Trinity would love it."

Mya kissed his head, and rubbed his shoulder.

"It's fine with me as long as there's popcorn." Jacksons said.

Ryan looked up. "I want popcorn!"

Chloe chuckled. "Okay, you can have some later." She said.

Mya sighed. "Do you think I feel any better about this?" she asked. "I'm trying to be there for you, even though I just want to cry, and be angry," she said.

"Ma, what happen to Auntie Ria?" Ryan asked, pointing to the bruises, bites, and burns.

Chloe sighed. "I'll tell you later."

Jackson looked at Maria. "We still have time until we watch a movie." He said. "Let's get some cream on those burns because the makeup made them worse."

"Mya, you don't get it. I feel like the worst person in he world because I didn.'t know my daughter was being abused by her boyfriend. How can I forgive myself for failing to protect her?" Mason sighed.

"She's my daughter too! I don't exactly feel like superwoman over here," she said.
