Victor's eyes start to adjust to the dark, just enough so he could see the ground infront of him "hold on a second.." he stopped and reached for his knife, thengrind it across his swords blade and create sparks for light, ok.. can you grab one of those dried sticks?" he gestured to the cut branches and plants outside "let's try to make a torch"

Crystal made a small nod and walked out towards the broken branches and twigs, that Victor had cut with his sword. She grabbed several dried up sticks and twigs and bunched them up together. Then she walked back to Victor with the dried up twigs and sticks.

"thank you" he smiled and took them, then with some more sparks he got the end of them caught on fire, just enough to light up the cave "let there be light!" Victor held up the torch and waved it slightly

A small smile grew on her face. Her eyes then wandered around the cave. She was able to see everything better.
"I wonder what is at the end of this cave." she said with a smile. She started to make her way towards the back of the cave.

Victor followed next to her "I'm not sure.. maybe something spooky" he whispered, and brushed his fingers like a spider on opposite shoulder to try and scare her. then quickly moved his hand back down, pretending he didn't do it

Her eyes strayed over to her shoulder. She did a quick brush to see if anything was there, but there wasn't. She made a small frown and then glanced over at Victor.
"Yes, maybe something spooky. Maybe not a spider, but a ferocious man eating bear." she smiled and out of her hands casted a shadow on the wall. It looked like the jaws of a bear.

Victor chuckled and looked at the shadow "maybe, or it could be something monsterous.. like a dragon" he held his free hand up to shadow a dragon, then made it bite the bear shadow. there was a whisper that shot through the cave, making the flames of the torch flicker, and Victor stopped, unsure if it was just wind, oor something else (should they find something?)

She looked at the shadow of the dragon and smiled. Then she heard the whisper.
"I wonder what that was." she said looking at him. She then gripped her sword but did not free it from its hilt. She took several steps forwards.

Victor followed close behind her, his hand on his sword "maybe the wind, maybe not.. keep moving, I'm right behind you" he looked back and kept close to Crystal so she could see ahead (maybe.. a bear, or a wolf, or just some kind of animal.. oo, how about a vein of diamonds or some kind of mineral)

Crystal nodded and kept walking. Her eyes peered in the cave. So far, she could see nothing a head of them. What if Victor was right, what if it was just the wind. Crystal wanted to see what it was. Her curiosity was getting the best of her.
As she walked she kept as silent as possible, if it was an animal she didn't want to disturb it.
