Kaleb couldn't help but smirking as the princess stepped ahead of them and made her way down the corridor. She was the perfect image of a powerful queen, striding through the three men. The prince followed his fiance, hurriedly taking a few sips of his stew before catching up. As they passed a candle boy in the hall, Kaleb passed the bowl to the boy, who stared curiously after them. Kaleb was bound to spill the stew everywhere if he had kept holding onto it. Besides, he had sent more up to his rooms, and there was a surplus in the kitchen.

The gates came into view after a few minutes of quick walking. The torches had been lit, sparks crackling and the laughter of a few drunken soldiers from the barrack the only sound. Two knights were playing cards on a low table near the stables, but they quickly stood at the presence of the two royal subjects. More knights and soldiers stood at attention, but Kaleb ignored them, glancing around for Prince Nickolas. There. As the knight had said, Nick was wearing a worn cloak, stained with dirt and mud. A short, dwarfish man sat along with him on a rough horse. How strange. "Open the gates." he called to the guards nearest. They did as they were told, albeit a bit hesitantly. "Nick, whatever has happened?" he asked, taking the reins of the horse and leading the two men into the palace courtyard.

[I will try my hardest to play Nick as much as Trex roleplays him, but please bear with me if I mess things up xD]

Nick watched the knight leaving for a moment before he listened to Ferston. "Of course I do know the head knight." he replied on a friendly tone, not wanting Ferston to think he asked a stupid question. A moment later he heard footsteps and the gate opened, Prince Kaleb walking towards them and leading the horse onto the courtyard. He also saw his sister a bit behind Kaleb and the knights, eating something out of a bowl. The prince soon turned his gaze back to Kaleb. "I went out for a walk and I didn't know where I went." he replied. He spoke the truth, he had gone out for a walk and still didn't knew the exact location of where he had been. Nick looked around the courtyard and noticed there were a lot of guards and knights walking around. "What happened here? There are so many guards. I thought your engagement with my sister would be announced tonight?"

[I feel like I am really messing this up >.< Sorry if I did. I'm just not able to write as fancy as Trex normally does]

Serena followed Kaleb as he passed her after a moment, making sure not to spill the stew in her bowl. The girl could simply pass it to a servant, like KC did, but she was hungry. Oh well, not really hungry, like most of the poorer people were, but she just had to eat something for the time being. She noticed her brother at the gates and sighed relieved, glad he was alright. As the guards opened the gate and Kaleb got the two men on the horse in the courtyard, the princess quietly ate from her stew. She didn't want it to get cold. She carefully walked closer to her brother and the strange man, though she still watched them from a distance. She didn't felt like being questioned about the bruise on her cheek.

Kaleb raised his eyebrows. "You got lost?" He examined the cloak that Nick wore a bit more closely. It was too big for him, hanging loosely on his shoulders. Wherever had he gotten it? Definitely not while taking a walk and getting lost. "The amount of guards have multiplied in the last few hours. Since all of the royals are at Avalon, the Elyadon knights and guards have traveled here to protect the crown." At the question of the announcement of his and Serena's engagement, Kaleb frowned and looked away, fists clenched. He was still upset. "There's been a bit of a change. Let's just say you missed a lot in your absence." He beckoned for Nick to come off his horse, then glanced up at the short stranger. "Who's this?"

Nick got off the horse and looked at Kaleb. "That's one way to put it." he replied, his hand giving the horse's head a quick pet. "This is Ferston." Nick simply replied, gesturing towards the short man. He gave a small smile before he felt the arms of his sister being wrapped around him. Nick looked down at her and hugged her back, a bit uneasy. "It's alright, Rena. I'm here." he said, before he released his sister again. "Nothing to worry about." He looked back at Kaleb and noticed he was upset about something, but didn't question it.

Serena watched the two for a moment before she placed the bowl on the floor and simply walked over to her brother, giving him a hug. She had been worried about him, since he had disappeared for about a day and a half without letting anyone notice where he went. She nodded at his words and soon released him, not wanting to make the hug awkwardly long. "Okay." she said with a small smile. "I'm just glad you're back."

She saw the fallen tree trunk and climbed to the top of it and sat down. It gave her a nice view of the lake, and the forest around it. She turned her head towards the right and she saw something scurry off quickly. She made a smile when she saw the furry ears of a bunny hop away from them. She then hopped down and explored more of the trunk.

Victor watched her as she jumped up and noticed the bunny a second after she did, then looked around, he whistled like a bird and held up his hand as a raven swooped down and landed on his arm "hey what's up my birdie friend?" he asked and strocked it's neck lightly. The bird cawed loudly and looked at him a moment before cawing again and flying off

Azure Kray, HK of Elyadon
Azure wait a little way from the group of Royals, trying to stay out of the way, he had taken his hand off of his sword once they entered the courtyard, feeling a bit more relaxed among the other guards and knights. Although he had known Nick for quite a long time he thought it best just to staay back, and later ask him of his whereabouts for the past day

(I'm not trying to take athourity, I;m just trying to be the Head Knight and protect the Elyadon and Avalon royals)

She watched as he called a raven. He was a beautiful bird in her mind. She then made her way around the trunk and towards Victor. She flashed him a smile.
"So, where should we go from here?" she asked him.

"hm.. maybe we could go over there" he point a little further down the shore, there was a cave in the distance, he hadn't noticed it there before because of the darkness and wildlife blocking it, he kinda wondered what was inside

Her eye gazed over towards the cave. It seemed interesting, and she was curious now. She too wondered what was in the inside of the cave.
"Than lets go." she smiled and started to make her way over to it. Once she was at the cave she peered inside. It was dark. A smile grew on her face. But she waited for Victor to come over before she would go inside.

Victor followed right behind her most of the way, then got next to her the rest, once at the cave he looked in, and used his sword to clear away some of the plants so they could get in "you ready? he asked and looked at her as he slowly start to move in

She nodded and followed after him. She had her hand over the butt of her sword, just incase was in here she was ready. Her eyes slowly started to a just to the dark. But still she could barely anything. So Crystal kept close to Victor.
Her eyes wandered around the cave. She could make out shadows and shapes in the dark. But that was all.
