Maria walked to Myles's room, and knocked on the door. "Come in," he said, and Maria walked in.

Mya sighed. "Mason?"

Jackson followed her in.

Chloe looked up from reading a book to Ryan. "Oh my god, Maria! What happened?!" She asked.

Mason let himself fall to his knees. He burried his face in his bloodied hands, which were a result of punching the wall. "How could I have let her go through that for so long? How could I have possibly been so oblivious to something so serious?" He asked, crying. "All my life I said I would keep her safe. I failed her." He cried.

Myles gasped. Maria told them everything that she'd told Mya and Mason.

Mya sighed, and sat by him. "Mace, you didn't fail her. No one knew," she said.

"And you put up with that for a year?! Why didn't you break up?" Chloe asked.

Mason turned to her. "I should have known. I'm her father! I should have sensed it." He said.

"Do you think he would have let me?" she asked.

Mya sighed, sitting by him. "Mason, don't blame yourself for this, okay? I feel that same way that you do," she told him.

Chloe sighed. "Why didn't you come to me? I would have helped you."

"I do blame myself. I broke a promise. I promised to protect her!" Mason said.

She sighed. "He would have just hit me more! Why doesn't anyone understand that?" she asked, crying.

Mya sighed, rubbing his back. "But she doesn't blame you," she said.

Chloe sighed. "C'mere." She said, opening her arms for her.

Jackson rubbed Maria's back. "You're okay."

Mason sighed. "She's going through the same things Anna went through with Brett. I just can't believe I never noticed."

Mya sighed. "I know. I wish I noticed, too," she said.

Chloe held onto her. "Are you and Jacks an item?" She asked, whispering. "Because I might beat you if I lose the bet." She teased.

"He was biting her neck." He sighed. "Were those cigarette burns on her shoulders?"
