I find it really hard to continue a hoard after I've started, I lose interest very quickly.I have only one hoard which is a list pet, because I can't get over the design so I just push through demand. I've made it to, eh, two? ;u;
Any particular reason you hoarders keep a certain pet?

My main hoard is PeaPS, and the reason I hoard them was because I literally could not stop at just one or two, I had to get more. I haven't tired of them yet, and I don't see myself ever losing interest in them. Maybe it's just a pet you just have to find to just want to keep going. I have lots of other hoards, but none of them interest me as much as the PeaPS. In fact, often when I finish a hoard I'll put it up for trade, as it was more about the excitement of getting them and reaching a goal than of the pet itself.

I fear that I might lose interest in some of them over time. That's why I only hoard up to 20 each, that way I don't bore of them that easily.
It is also a reason why my hoards are not unlimited. It has happened a few times (about, 5 or so?) that I look through my hoard and think, "Why did I hoard that pet back then? I... actually don't like it this much" ^^;
They were just popular pets that everybody liked. Just not me.

But now I really don't let myself be influenced anymore, thus I only hoard those I really love. And because of the limit, I don't lose interest. Once the hoard is complete, I'm content and happy and aww. <3

I'm really excited about my so called "mega hoard." Most of my hoards are small, but this one has a goal of 826 pets, and I only have 100 to go! I've been collecting them since they came out in 2011, but I still have 60 to get that are uncommon, so this part might take a while. Almost done with the common outcome at least!

My bunny hoard is nearing 60%! I'm finding it harder and harder to get bunnies... Maybe I'll wait for next Easter to finish this hoard.

Dark Magic Horse, TRON Dogs, and Equines.

Why do you hoard them?
I love the designs for the horses and dogs. And I've always loved all sorts of equines and probably always will.

DMHs: 29 (though three are broken heart pegasi)

Do you overpay for hoard pets/items?
A bit, but I do prefer fair swaps.

After a short break from hoarding, I've decided to attempt to complete my bunny hoard!

This hoard used to run mainly on the many generous users who gifted me as well as adoption centers, but recently adoption centers seem to have run dry of bunnies and gifters seem to have disappeared!

I'm grateful for the gifts and adopted bunnies that I've gotten so far though ^^ I would never have gotten this far without them. Thank you so much to everybody who helped with my hoard! I really really appreciate it!

Goodbye my trade fodder! I'll be watching you run dry as I complete my hoard!

Only a few hundred bunnies left! It's getting harder, but I have enough fodder to finish the hoard. Seems like most people value very common bunnies more than very common.

I had finished all my open hoards and was taking a break from hoarding, but this months 2nd gen dogs made me have a new one.

I've been waiting for a dog with blue-black-white markings, so yay! And it has a collar! So here's my new hoard baby:



Also, this hoard has nothing to do with the fact that this dog looks like the BMD - it's all about the colors.
