Noah~Long Tooth~Alpha Male

I felt the familiar, welcome tingle travel up and down my spine as the sun finally dipped below the far of horizon. My change was quick and painless, and the thick brown pelt felt nice against the cooling night air surrounding me. I let out a long howl before returning to the main camp area, hopefully the rest of the pack was rushing back to the camp. My paws fell silently as I padded into camp, giving a quick nod to Akalia before sitting down at the top of the earthen circle.

Scarlet~Silent Steps~Alpha Female

I jumped from ground with a single push, landing with ease on a low tree branch. "Good evening." I purred softly, as I caught sight of Damon's tail hanging off of a branch a few feet above me. I pulled myself up onto another branch, my claws grabbing at the bark. "I think tonight would be a lovely night for a clan hunt? What about you?" I continued, stretching out on the branch and locking my hazel eyes on my fellow alpha.

Mercy - Long Tooth - Sentinel

Mercy sighed as she noticed the sun setting. About time, she thought as she felt the familiar rush of heat down her spine. Closing her eyes, she reopened them and was lower to the ground. She shook out her black and silver-flecked coat, and trotted off in the direction of camp. The bird's songs up ahead where coming to a drowsy end, and the creatures of the day where slowly settling into their dens. The creatures of the night, however, where only just beginning to stir.

Mercy reached the camp after a few more minutes, and nodded at Noah curtly. This was her usual greeting to everyone; she wasn't what you would call tender-hearted. She sat down and scratched at an ear absently before relaxing into a sitting position.

Sasha~Silent Steps~Beta Female

Sasha looked up to see Rosette, the Omega. She was glad that the female knew her place, or Sasha would most definitely put her in it. As it was, Sasha always pitied the lower ranked females, but not enough to suggest to the Alpha's that they move up, not until they proved themselves. In the meantime, the Alpha female appeared. Sasha bowed respectfully. Her eyes lit up at the suggestion.

"A Clan hunt does sound rather lovely."

She looked to Damon, hoping for his approval.

Matther~Heavy Paws~Hunter

Matthew sighed. He was in no mood for swimming after all, he knew it from the moment he set paw in the water. Snarling, he climbed back out and started back into the forest. He was more hungry than anything, and human was on his mind. Hurrying along, he crunched the twigs and such below his paws. Should he attempt to locate the others first. He did not want to be demoted in rank for missing a Pack meeting. Reluctantly, he approached the Alpha, head and eyes down. "Orders?" he grunted roughly, then reluctantly added, "Sir?"

I nodded at Jenna's greeting, not using words; as usual. My panther mouth quirked into a slight smile at the thought, and then my head swiveled towards Scarlet at the sound of her claws scraping the bark, her voice. I was about to respond to her suggestion when Sasha chimed in, agreeing with Scarlet. My left ear swiveled in her direction, and the small smile played on my lips again. With the two most influential females of the clan wanting to go on a clan hunt, there wasn't much hope for me to protest. I didn't respond right away, standing on my branch and stretching out my lithe, yet very muscular, back, my tail flicking against the trunk of the tree. "That would indeed be pleasant," I answered finally, nodding at them all. I flickered my eyes to Rosette for only a moment, nodding in the slightest to her very briefly before returning my attention to the others. "Whenever you wish to begin is fine with me."

I nodded towards Sasha, my gaze trailing down to were she sat for a while. I sat in thought for a while, closing my eyes and enjoying the cool night breeze. "Why waste time? We should start right away." I purred finally, standing up on the slender branch and leaping to the ground. My soft padded paws made a barely audible thud as they hit the ground next to Sasha.

I sat in quiet contemplation, watching the others as they organized a hunt. I mused as to weather they would allow me along, licking my pelt with my pink tongue, trying to act uninterested. I was on pins and needles all the while, the tip of my crooked tail jerking quicker, my ears swiveling, trying to pick up any sounds that would indicate I was included in these plans.

The female black panther nodded to her fellow packmates' thoughts and smiled softly. "I agree, a hunt would be good and I'm sure the rest of the pack would appreciate it." Jenna purred softly, her long black tail curving around all her four paws. It curved out and twitched softly before curving back in, then out, then in again. She did this while the other panthers of the Silent Steps spoke to each other.

Sasha~Silent Steps!~Beta Female

Sasha smiled a little. She did so love her Clan. All of them hunting meant bigger game as well. She turned to walk beside the Alpha, though she was quite careful to walk a few steps behind so Scarlet was in the lead. A good eta knows her place. Her golden eyes swerved to see that Rosette was not following. A bad sign. Good in the sense that the female knew her place, and bad in the sense that she was making no initiative to move up in rank. Sasha paused in her steps, considering whether to let the Omega join them or not. If she proved herself a decent hunter at least it might help. Then she beckoned the other werepanther along with her tail, careful to never speak an Omega's name.

The large Beta female resumed her treading near the Alpha female. "What are we after? Humans or Moose?"

"Hmm." I thought, sitting down at the edge of camp in thought. I rapped my tail around my paws, ears flicking towards any noise from the forest. "Ignorant humans should be out tonight, considering the perfect conditions. A human or two sounds nice. What do you think, Damon?" The crickets were starting to come out, adding to the sounds of the night forest. My sight danced from tree to tree, watching as the small song birds hunkered down in their nests and the larger birds of prey came out to hunt.
