What was wrong with me? I had woken up from a dream, I thought. I had been sick for almost three weeks and I felt as though I was already dead. Maybe I was and I just didn't know it yet. No, I shouldn't think like that. Not after what happened to mom....
oh...god....mom. Why did I have to think of her? her and the disease...oh. God. Please, just. Don't let me die now. I don't think I could face what lies beyond.
