"The" Rares List Guide - Do not ask about new UR's!

I have a question I think most that don't know enough about the list to explain it are wondering... Has the gap been decided into a type of "math" yet? I think from what I'm reading is mostly trying to figure out the demand for the same 3 or 4 dogs -w- and not necessarily how the gap is going to be working. I have been reading since the first post (give or take a few pages and what I have or have not forgotten over time) and it's not really making sense to me. If it HAS been explained, don't mind me and I apologize

We are working on a point system, and once that is finished each gap would be broken down into numbers, but there really wouldn't be a 'math' to the gaps since each gap is different. Any point system we make would be going my the exact value of those pets according to the rares list, so they wouldn't be counting for any demand fluctuations of the dogs unless it was such a major fluctuation that the rares list was changed. But it wouldn't be that far of a step for people to take to add extra demand if that is what they want to do. I actually don't think any of those dogs have any high demand right now so I don't think its really a problem. Our main point here is to help people with trading, and to help them realize how much some of these pets are worth. The rares list really isn't the place to come for pet demands, but once the point system is done, it wouldn't be that hard to say 'well there are 3 of that pet-sized gaps between the pet I have and the pet I want, and I think that pet is worth a little bit more so I'll add 3 mid advents to that number'.

At school today, I suddenly started wondering what the supply of some of these pets was, and how it affected their placement on the list. So, what's the supply of some of these pets? /curiosityquestion

Like how many total of each pet there is? It was my understanding that Nick and Tess were not willing to release the statistics on the numbers of each type of pet. And such numbers of supply would chnage depending on how many of the pets were actually up for trade, some pets are only worth so much because so many have been hoarded away or its just so popular that very few are for trade.

It looks like it is going to be a mid-high 09 list, but it is not worth an advent, or even a main list like the pps

I dont understand... people keep linking me this and telling me it'll help me trade for the Banana pet but I dont understand how this would help me at all....
