Tariana: I sat there for a long, long while, hardly moving except for breathing before I finally looked up at the prince again, tears resting in my eyes.

"He picked an old man?" Kaidin's nose wrinkled. "Eww. That's just gross," he muttered. Kaidin was a tall man of seemingly his early twenties, thin but strong.

Violet: "He paid a diecent amount of money for my hand in marriage." I say. "Before that he sold me to a man named Mason. He abused the crap out of me to the point were I would've rather died than live with him, so I ran and lied to my father that he died."

Tariana: I rested my head on his chest, unable to smile despite my efforts but still looking up at the prince, my face pink from crying.

Kaidin nodded a bit. "So how old is this man, anyway? I mean, if you don't mind me asking, of course," he inquired, curiosity filling the bounty hunter's face.

Violet: "He's like, 50" I say. "I'm only 18! And if I outlive him id be sold to someone else"

Tariana: I didn't pull away or show any sign of not wanting his hand to be there. My face looked almost blank as I watched the prince.

"50? That's disgusting," Kaidin muttered. "Is there anyone you know that you really love; that you want to marry?" He asked, seeming casual but gathering information.

Tariana: After a few moments I moved my head to the side, hiding my face in his chest as I tried not to cry again. Even though we were far away from Kaidin I was still terrified of him.

Kaidin nodded a little. "I see," he mused quietly before looking up at the princess. The sky was dark now and the temperature had dropped. "Are you cold, princess?"
