So, I introduced my friend to Homestuck. She's been reading it since then, and is around act 3.

But
BUT
How the heck am I supposed to explain shipping to her without making it sound stupid? She's a total noob to fandoms in general, she hadn't even heard about Doctor Who until I told her, and that's a huge one in my area. I'm not the greatest at explaining Homestuck stuff to those who don't know anything about it yet, and I don't want to screw this up.
Because I told her my ships, and she better LOVE THEM. *dies*
