Stopped by PetSmart today since they have a sale going on. I was searching for the antler chews when I happened upon this..."thing" called a "SmartBone" ( weird name, right?). Aw, what the heck. Its peanut butter flavored and on sale. I bought it. -.- Stu-pid! I don't know why I didn't see where it was made while at the store. China. Dun dun duh! I had already handed it to Dixie and was reading the package while she happily chewed away. Then I read some review. *grab* out of Dixie's mouth it comes. Apparently these things are making a lot of dogs ill and even killing some. Thank goodness she hadn't chewed much; but I'm still keeping an eye on her. Into the trashcan goes the DumbBone!

On my next trip I'll be picking up the antler I'd originally gone for. Any suggestions on what size? Dixie is a 60lb Golden Retriever for those who don't know. (Poor baby looked so dejected after I took it from her xP. Good thing I got a new toy for her too.)
