{{Right now Max, Gazzy and Iggy are in the basement and Gazzy just had an accident with a bomb. Kirose is coming towards the house and Fang just spotted her out the window. }}

Fang stood up, brushing dust off of his black t-shirt. After he watched Max reprimand Gazzy, he headed past Iggy back upstairs with his hands in his pockets. He wasn't a fan of explosions in the house, especially when they ruined the basement. He went back into the kitchen to grab another piece of bacon. He stood in front of the sink and as he looked up to look out the window, he dropped his piece of bacon in surprise.
The dark figure in the yard had the outline of...wings. "Max," he said urgently, loud enough for her to hear him from downstairs, but quiet enough so it wasn't a yell.

Chayse looked at the new girl. Another one? She couldn't help but get the feeling something was up. "Hey," she replied despite her thoughts with a warm smile to the girl who'd just arrived.

MAX

I stiffened at the sound of Fang's voice, knowing all-too-well that tone he was using. I darted up the basement stairs, walking quickly towards the back windows and stopping at his side, my raptor visioned eyes taking in the appearance of the new Avian in our backyard. "What the...?" I growled, my brow furrowing slightly. "Is that what I think it is?"

JACOB

I looked up as yet another Avian found us and flew down to us, my hands still around the back of my neck. I raised my eyebrow in mild surprised, quite shocked to see that there were far more Avians created than I had at first thought. I didn't even bother taking my pen and paper from my back pocket, at least, not until someone spoke to me. My fingers were getting tired.

"No, it can't be. I think we just died when Gazzy blew up that bomb," he said quietly. He studied the figure as it approached. It's posture seemed sort of...threatening. Whoever it was, he sensed they weren't here to sell cookies.
"Plan of action?" he asked, turning his head to look at Max.

"Don't gorge down it all at once." I said as Total devoured a piece of our past breakfast hungrily. I giggled slightly as he looked up at me, his face covered in scrambled eggs. "Now you're all messy. Max'll have to give you a bath." Total trotted a little bit away at the mention. "The last time she did that, I turned out like a shaved sheep." I rolled my eyes, still smiling and turned to look out the window. Then my smile faded. A girl. An avian. I rushed to find Max, but right at that time Max had just came charging up the stairs and stared out the window at the girl. I walked up to her and stared up at her face, Total trotting behind me. "Max." I said, tugging at her shirt impatiently.

MAX

I studied the Avian coldly, my brown eyes calculating. I opened my mouth to answer Fang's question when Angel tugged on my sleeve. I growled and looked down at her, raising an impatient eyebrow. "What is it, Angel?" I asked, struggling to keep my voice calm. I looked back out the window at the girl walking towards us and frowned, not liking that she was getting closer.

"I don't know if she wants to hurt us, but she has a knife. It's in a sheath around her waist." I said quietly, trying to read the girl's thoughts. It was hard though. She seemed... determined about something. I didn't want her to hurt anyone of us... "I can make her turn around if you want." I offered innocently, turning to look back up at Max with wide eyes. I never really knew there were others like us in the world.

MAX

I kept my eyes on the girl in our backyard, studying her for a moment. "No," I decided finally, my face tense. "There's enough of us to handle her if she decides to be stupid." My face was slightly grim as I continued to watch her, my fingers clenching on the countertop; what Fang and I had discussed just this morning was true. Horribly, inevitably true.

I frowned and looked down at the ground and bit my lip. She was right. I looked up one more time."Should I get Iggy and Ga-..." I trailed off when I noticed Max's face and I kept quiet, staring out the window, only able to reach it by my tippy toes. I could have easily gotten the stranger avian to turn and go away. But... Max seemed to want to do it a different way. I cocked my head as I stared out the window, frowning. There was something about her. I stared at her, zoning out as I concentrated on her mind.

Kirose watched as the house stirred silently at her arrival. Seems I've made quite the uproar. I might as well give them what they expect She thought smuggly, and launched into the sky. She flew straight up, then dipped and swooped low over the house. Her boots made a loud thump as she landed on the roof, and walked around. "So this is the infamous avaian flock." She muttered, and leaned against the chimney. Kirose pulled out her knife, studing it in her hands, before scratching it aimlessly acros the bricks of the chimney. Ready or not....
