I frowned and looked at my lap. "Well, he kind of hates my dad because my dad turned his back on magic, since he wasn't born with it, and pretty much became an only child. Daniel may say he has no family, but I know he still cares." My voice grew quieter near the end. I shook my head and forced a smile. "Anyway, you should stop sniffing around other peoples business."
