The Forgotten Pearl (Semi-Lit+ Pokemon Adventure, Accepting)

((Tail Whip does not do any real damage, it only lowers defense. The Anime makes everything weird. I mean, Pikachu can beat up almost any Pokemon. They made it so Pikachu thunderbolt'd an Onix to death. ._. Although, it's up to Kitteh.))

Anbu nodded to Dusk. It seemed they had everything figured out. A name, where they were going, they had the bag. Now, they had to take the first step and begin the journey. Though, the forest looked pretty dark, but he was sure Serenity or Dusk could light it up a bit.

Sora's tail lashed as his eyes flicked about, not sure which Spinarak to attack first. Growling, he used Scratch on a few that were nearby, though, it seemed for every one he hit, there were ten more behind it. Sora's jaw dropped as the Spinarak began to use Quick Attack, he was hammered by a few of them, sending him flying backwards. "Mrooow..." he groaned as he pushed himself back to his paws, his muscles straining. "Damien... Spark... I think we have to take out the Ariados if we want to get away alive." Sora meowed desperately, though, he had no plan on how to get through all of the Spinarak to the Ariados.

Serenity's eyes flicked from Anbu to the forest. "Looks pretty dark in there," she said plainly. Back to her normal self. "Anbu, I can't continuously use ember and such. Maybe if you found a stick or something that we could light." She thought for a moment. "It can't be too skinny, but not too fat either..." Serenity twisted her head around, searching for any sticks. "I guess looking near the forest entrance would be our best bet," she said, starting to walk there. "I'll check over to the right of the entrance. Would you mind searching the left side?" she asked as she was already padding over to her side of the entrance.



Spark was struck by the charging Ariados, flying back next to Sora. "Oof..." he said, laying on the ground for a moment. "N..no. I can't give up yet! Team Pharoah is going to get that Pearl! This is the easy part of the test!" Spark jumped up and ran over to Damien. He used his sharp tail end to cut some of the web off. Now he was mad and determined. Spark thought and thought for what seemed forever as he tried to did of the pesky Spinarak. "Hey, you guys! We all need to unleash our best attacks directly at the Ariados! Every time we attack the Spinarak, they run back to Ariados, so if we get the Ariados, the Spinarak should leave, too!" He turned his head to Sora. "Good idea, Sora," he said, briefly smiling and winking. "Ready guys? One..." Spark turned his head to Sora then Damien, and smiled, wanting them to continue the countdown. He zapped another Spinarak and it scuttled back to the Ariados.

The little poochyena smiled at his team leader who helped break the web and he clambered out. He leapt to Spark's side and nodded towards him, an expression on his face showing only determination. "Two..." Damien added and looked at Sora with a smile on his face, wanting him to finish off their little countdown. He took a deep breath to get ready for his direct attack on the Ariados. He turned his head back to face the huge spider pokemon and glared at it but with an eager grin on his face, ready to pounce at the spider at any moment.

Pip grinned slyly."Why don't you be leader? Unless someone else wants to, I have no problem myself. As you said, I want to get moving and travel as soon as I can. That way, we have a good chance of finding the pearl first." Not that its a competition-As long as someone good gets the pearl, i'm fine. But it would be nice to be in the team that found it first.He thought, and turned to Queenie.= "Ice fang? Actually most totodiles get it after they evolve into a croconaw, so not yet...I think I saw my brother use it early once though. If I practice, I should probably learn it soon."

Looking around, Pip also noticed some of the other teams had cleared out already. If they wanted a good chance, it would be best to move out as early as possible. When King asked him who the other totodile was, he turned around and took a glance."We should get moving soon and...Oh.Thats my elder brother I was talking about, and I accidentally...Blast it, I forgot all about him!" And ran over to go get him.

Leo glared at the team suspiciously. "Well?" He snapped irritated at being forgotten and ignored all this time.He immediately sized up the two nidorans, but was smart enough not to say what he was thinking. They look weak... Was his first thought, and his second was why he was over here in the first place. He glanced a bit admiringly at the two nidorans despite himself,and yawned showing off his massive jaws.

"King, I know he's a pain...But he's usually pretty quiet, and even though he gets grumpy, he's really strong. So can he tag along for now?" Pip begged,impatient for the first time and wanting to go.

[keydemon]

"Three!" Sora meowed loudly, leaping forward. Swiftly, he leaped from Spinarak to Spinarak, squishing them underneath his paws. Soon, he reached the Ariados and used Bite on one of it's back legs. He could feel the Spinarak around it attacking him and trying to defend their leader, but there was no way he was letting go of this Ariados.

Anbu nodded coolly and strode over to the forest. Crouching down, he looked through the numerous sticks that were scattered about. Poking experimentally at a few, he found they were all too weak and snapped. Sighing, he walked a bit deeper into the forest and scrounged about in there. Finally, he found a good looking stick that was thin at the very top and got fatter as it went down. Though, they would probably need more sticks judging by the length of the forest. Hopefully Serenity found a stick or two too. Picking it up, he walked back over to where Dusk was waiting and looked to see if Serenity had found anything too.

Spark felt a power surging through him andlooked at Sora. Spark followed his lead, running at the ariados and clamping on to his leg on the other side of the one Sora had. Appearantly electric wasn't too effective against it. The Ariados seemed to be in pain. Spark tried to say "C'mon Damien, we can do it!" but it sounded more like a bunch of mumbles. Spark clamped down as tight as his jaw could go.



"I only found these two," Serenity said, with the two sticks in her mouth. She dropped them on the ground in front of Anbu. "Each one should last us for a while, so hopefully we can make it through with only these three." Serenity looked at Dusk and smiled weakly. "Are you ready to get going, Dusk? I think we're ready."

The poochyena let out a loud howl and charged at the huge spider pokemon. Damien heard his leader's calls and nodded. He leapt out as high as he could and landed firmly on the Ariados' back. He growled loudly and used Bite on one of the large spider's front legs. The spider let out a screech and it was clearing in pain. Damien was panting heavily, his tongue hanging from his mouth and he watched as his team continued to attack the Ariados. He used Bite again on the same leg and this time refused to let go.

((Running on like 4 hours of sleep, this post is going to suck.))

Anbu nodded and picked up the two sticks, tucking them under his arm with the other one. He turned to look at the forest again. For some reason, he found that the vibe it gave off was rather sinister. He had no idea why he felt like that, it looked like any old forest. Shaking it off, he turned to Dusk to see her answer.

Sora felt his body fail him. His muscles were overly straining and the stinging sensation from the Spinaraks' attacks were beginning to hit him hard. Giving one last desperate chomp, he was finally flung off of the Ariados. "Mrow!" Sora gasped as he struck another tree. Painfully, he struggled to his paws and peeked at the ongoing battle. The Ariados seemed to be in pain and tiring. Perhaps they finally won this fight.

Solice looked at Blaze, "My name?" She spoke as if coming out of a trance, which was something she did not do often, "Oh, it's Solice." she said, then asked "What should we call ourselves?" she asked him, pulling out the map in the treasure bag. She looked at the two paths, the red one and the blue one. She decided silently that taking the red path first then the blue one then the red one again, to reach the single path that lead to the cave where the pearl lay.

"Yes I think that you should be leader, King, your name fits the role perfectly." Queenie said before looking over at Pip's brother, "I think that he should join, the more the merrier, well almost." She added the last part after looking Leo over more closely. He seemed a little more impatiant than Pip and was a bit frightening.

King grinned. "Really?" Well okay!" He tried to sound surprised, but the gratitude won out. Leader! Then he looked at Leo and couldn't help but give another look over. He seemed very different from his brother. Probably close to Croconaw stage.He thought, a smirk sliding onto his face. Oh well, it didn't really matter, they needed to get moving.

"Okay, well, what path should we take?"
