I do tend to murder the commas though, because it's just so fun somewhat of a "style" of mine. It's just sort of how I write, after reading old books, where the sentances are about a paragraph each. -coughDainelDeronzacough-

✿........................................Sorry for double posting, just wanted to let everyone know I added another four-hundred and fourty-eight words to White Shadows.
I'm currently working on making a strong transition into the point of the book where the plot really comes into play. If all goes according to plan, that should happen in the second chapter, which is a little far away. I'm also looking for suggestions for character names! One will be the grumpy sort, and the other extraordiarily quiet. I'm not sure what their genders are yet, so either type of name would be fantastical.

This is an amazing story; the plot is very unique, like nothing else I have ever read, and your writing style is absolutely beautiful. If you continue writing this, I think it would be a breeze for you to get it published.

As for critique... I couldn't see anything that could be improved in there. There may have been one or two typos, but, besides them, there is nothing that I think needs to be changed.
