Ancient Cultures Special #2- Ancient Egypt

Postby SerenWish » Wed May 15, 2013 1:39 am

Here is # 2 in my “Ancient Cultures” series- Ancient Egypt! These ponies are all based on ancient cultures- their customs, history, and myths. Each one is special, for more reasons then just appearance!

-All of the ponies are based on a different culture.
-They all come in unusual colors and/or patterns.
- All of them have a special accessory.
-They are all customizable- you can have painted markings (like glyphs, etc.) added if you win them, all you have to do is ask!
- All of these ponies can pass down accessories to their foals! Not just the ones you see either!

In order to win this lass, just fill out the form! I will be judging on effort in the creative area, interesting names, and of course, correct answers in the trivia portion! Don’t worry if you aren't sure of the answers, correct answers boost your likelihood of winning her, but a good creative piece goes just as well.

This mare’s foals can have:Bangles, Beaded Collar (Shown), Cobra Ornament. (Some accessories might cost a bit extra to get, depending on how difficult they are.)

Ancient Egypt was a river valley civilization, dwelling around the banks of the Nile River admist a desert. Tell me a story (Or show me a picture, or both) of this mare in the desert- is she lost? Does she see the pyramids? Did she escape? Totally up to you! Remember, effort and creativity is a big part of this!

Yellow sand swirled around Amunet and she closed her eyes for a moment trying to keep the sand from going there, sand storms were not uncommon but this one seemed the worst yet. Finally the storm began to calm down, she opened her eyes and looked around, sand had buried her hooves, but she was still able to shake it off and glance around again, sand was everywhere, not a single familiar thing caught her eye.

Amunet began to panic and her ears flattened as she searched for her home, and then, coming to the top of a sand dune she caught sight of the city she called home glimmering below her. She whinnied joyfully and galloped down the dune though making sure not to loose her footing, she glanced forwards at the city of Waset.

As Amunet entered the city the smells wafted toward her, various spices and other interesting smells, an enbalmer ran past carrying rolls of linen, Amunet glanced at him in interest and turned back to the bright city.
Other (Optional):
nope

Bonus:
Ancient China

Forgot to say- you are allowed to try out for multiple ponies from this theme! XD You probably won't win more than one, but you never know!

Also, make sure that if you write a story that it's at least a few paragraphs....;3

Yes, you were the only one to actually finish a form, but I honestly loved your form. I loved the picture, and the name, and the little writing piece. Also, expect to see Ancient China...not too far away. ;3 Any questions? Just ask me!
