Aedan smiled and continued to tickle the little pup. He looked up to see the other one run over to Razor. Aedan perked his ears up then looked over at Aniue. "Four of them? That must be tough." He said, his ears dropping for a moment as he recalled a memory. He shook out his pelt then sat down. "Well, I could help, if you ever need me to." He offered.

Aniue smiled with thanks, "Dream and I have them pretty much under control unless they all decide to fight with one another. " SHe said softly as she drew Rosemary back, "Go on to your father now little one." She said with a friendly and gentle shove of her muzzle as she watched the pup scramble off. SHe then stood, shaking out her ruffled and tossled pelt.

Aedan nodded in understanding. "Hm, where has Dream been hiding, by the way?" He asked, jokingly. Truth is, he'd only seen the Alpha fae maybe a total of two times.

SHe shrugged, "She is rather busy, that's why I'm with the pups all the time, unless Razor is around to take them of fmy paws. Don't get me wrong, I love them as if they where my own."

Aedan nodded. "I understand. I don't mean to pry, but why don't you have some little ones of your own? You're really good with them." He pointed out.

Aniue's pelt bristled slightly, "I did once, but a fire took my pup and my mate." She said quietly.

Aedan folded his ears back at her response. "I'm sorry to hear that." He said and let out a sigh. "I need to start thinking before I speak, eh?" He said, looking at her.

She nosed his shoulder softly, "No, it's ok," She reassured him, "You couldn't have possibly known." She said as she turned to look of into the distance quietly.

Aedan's pelt bristled a bit when she nosed his shoulder. After she looked away, he took a deep breath. "My mate left me. She took my pups with her." He said, his voice soft so that no one else would hear him.

She frowned, "Why would she do that?" she demanded with confusion.
