Ok, so I think my crush likes me back! So anyways in the morning we have to go into the gym and sit down unfilled first period starts. So I caught him staring at me and when I looked back over, he quickly turned his head back. And I always mess with him in the hallways and such, plus chase him down the hallways as well. I always catch him smiling at me and staring. He knows I like him because my friends told him. I don't know what to say to him and such. Help??

I don't see anything wrong with a year's difference. If you go to different schools (such as middle vs high) it might be harder to see each other. However, I see no real reason against it.

Seeing as I'm in a similar situation (8th grade guy, 10th grade girl), I feel inclined to throw in my two cents.

There isn't anything wronge with it. However, things are going to be more difficult. Something as simple as school policy can challenge you. However, if you like this guy, you'll get by just fine.
