Who could be your most sue pony but why isn't she/he?

A lot of hybrids tend to be really mary sue-ish. Plus, he's got the cliche shy personality. I wouldn't say he isn't a mary sue, because I'm not really good at making characters. He isn't a hybrid for no reason though, he's a magical construct, illegally resserected ponies combined with two other souls to keep them alive. Strawberry has heart problems that limit him, and can only run/fly for short distances without overworking himself.

Pale Heart



There are tons of sue alicorns. Alicorns are commonly regard as rare dieties that are only royalty. My head cannon says a little otherwise, but I won't delve into that. Pale Heart isn't royalty and he was born to normal pony parents. That sounds like a mary sue set up right there. However, he would have been born as a normal pony if his parents didn't tamper with black magic. Pale Heart also has some rather powerful magic, but he doesn't know how to control it and it is black magic. Illegal, and doesn't interact with normal spells. It's rather dangerous as well.

Working on a ref sheet for my newest OC, Cookie Upset. However, am stuck on a cutie mark idea. o.o Any ideas? I right now imagine her to be a bit of a clutz, and that's all I've got right now. xD

Aside from the fact she is part of a tribe of wild Amazon-like ponies, it's a . But i do have the idea her tribe lives in 'primitive' huts in the jungle and are unusually strong ponies, but there are no winged or horned horses in her species.

Still looking for a backstory and species for Ziszya Quetzalwing, the jungle-looking pony.

Hum, well I imagine ponies that live in a more "primitive" setting think a bit differently about life... Maybe she could be the tribes "matchmaker". And sets up arranged marriages? Or if you don't like that idea, perhaps her talent could be finding one particular fruit from the jungle?

Oh and maybe this species each individual has the same abilities as one of the other species... So, she can fly, but has no wings, or she can do magic, but has no horn..? Maybe too Mary Sue?

I don't like the idea of a matchmaker or any of her species using magic or wings (Though i thank you for the suggestions!), but maybe her tribes are hunter-gatherers (Or rather just gatherers because they are ponies) and she's the tribe healer or something and knows about medicinal plants?
