I wouldn't say 'kicked aside', it's probably just that some characters are more popular than others, more relatable, more known.

Anyone else like to RP their character into a relationship, and not just establish one out of character?

Most of the time in my streams
I rant on about this
And they are overly Mary-sue characters that people defend because of the artist and the chance of gettin something
This is why I have the tendency not to read any mlp fiction
Even more what is here on CS
