The Alley Cats~ Misled Souls (Semi-Lit RP! NEEDS MEMBERS!)

Dusk padded down the alley he licked his jaws, enjoying the last of the taste from the rat he just fineshed eatting. Happy and full the grey tom hopped up on a fence and trotted along blancing perfectly atop it. His tail swished rythmpicly as he made his way along the streey. The sound of distant mews made his ear prick forward, being as social as he was Dusk jumped down from the fence and bounced off towards the sounds of the other cats.

He sat down a couple feet away from them and looked over the beautiful she-cat, he smiled to himself and purred quitetly as he got up and made his way closer to the pair of them. "hello" he mewed, mostly to the female cat his meow was in its usual charming sort of flirtly tone.

(8D Yeah! Awesome! Hard to believe! ^.^;)

(Because I was so busy trying to put the shell pastas in the pot with a soup label (I opened the back the wrong way so I couldn't really just pour them in! Ugh), I missed a little documentary thing on DW-TV about how they put smiley faces on apples and coconuts (JUST missed it!), and then I burned myself on my pasta while I was trying to taste it! My hand! D:<)

Colline blinked. "Err, uhh.... Umm, I'm Colline?" she offered. "But my friends call me Colly. I dunno if I can trust you as a friend, just yet...." She nosed her mouse that she'd dropped on the floor somewhat self-consciously. "I mean, I think I can, but.... Well, I guess you're naturally small, so...." She broke off, shook her head, and chuckled. "Okay; okay! Enough with the demented awkward introductions, so.... Hi, Sparrow!" she said, trying to sound more cheerful. She mrrowed with laughter.

[Aw man! I wish I could've seen that too T.T]

Sparrow sat down, smiling slightly on the inside. He chuckled and said, "No worries. Hello, Colline." He said politely and submissively. Turning his head, he watched the other male with slight interest. He didn't like other males, especially like this one. He felt intimidated. "Perhaps I should go?" He said, watching Dusk, then Colline, wondering if the she-cat would like a male like the one before them. He flicked his tail back and forth, his light, swift paws ready to carry him away at top speed if the larger, stronger male got any closer.

"....N-No...." Colline glanced from Sparrow to the new cat. "I'm.... I don't know; I'd just rather that you stay, Sparrow," she admitted, shuffling her paws. "But I do have to go soon, as I have a duty to my group to drop my hunting bounty off there every time I go hunting...." She glanced towards the humans. "I wonder if they'll give me any food?"

Dusk watched them curiously for a moment then puffed up his fur as he walked closer to them, "I'm Dusk by the way." he said since they where doing introductions and such. He knew his presence made them uneasy he liked the power it made him feel. He turned to Colline "If you need food, I know where tons of mice are" he said offring to show her, maybe food was the way to this she-cats heart. He decided he had to play all the angles.

Sparrow blinked a few times, his tail not flicking with content now. Dusk had gotten close. Too close for Sparrow's liking--but he stayed anyways, because Colline asked him too. "Okay." He said simply, watching Dusk's fur puff up with ency. If only he looked so tough. He brushed it aside and watched Colline, wondering if she'd accept, or stay skeptic and suspicious of this male.

Colline glared at Dusk, puffing her entire body of fur up, also. "No, thank you. I have my own hunting grounds!" she said sternly. "I don't need your help!" she spat. She was feeling rather uneasy with both toms around - what if it was a trap to capture her unaware and then....? she thought, afflicted with a slight case of paranoia - and her instincts were telling her to turn around and run to where the humans were; they couldn't catch her there! The thought gave her strength and hope, and she whirled around and pelted the few feet out into the cafeteria outside clearing, blinking in the sudden sunlight of the plaza.

Sparrow watched her defiantly tell off the tom. He felt uneasy, standing up, his fur on end. His eyes were wide as he turned and ran the other way--back to the alleyways. Home, you could call it. He ran into an alleyway, stopping at the end, panting. He jumped into a dumpster, dragging out a half-eaten hot dog. He ate a little bit, curling up in the corner off the alley, his fur getting muddy and wet. He was trembling from cold as he closed his eyes, tucking his tail over his nose and attempting to get some sleep.

Colline realized once she was in the vicinity of the humans and trotting along the aisles between the picnic tables that maybe she shouldn't have been so harsh - or scared.
After all, I could have taken him! she thought. She knew that it was just a natural response to any toms that showed interest in her, though. How could she not want to run away? Still, looking back, she saw that Sparrow had disappeared. She sighed, feeling slightly guilty for her quick and hastily-thought-out, well, overall hasty, anyway, retreat.

Dusk watched her leave, his yellow green eyes not amused. They brighten a little as the other tom darted away. He huffed and turned away walking back down his alley. Somtimes he wished he was as misrible looking as that little scrap of a tom, Sparrow. The She-cat didn't fear him near as much as she did the fine looking cat that was Dusk. He thought about this smugly as he ploped down in a ray of sunlight that shone into the usualy dim alley way, Dusk closed his eyes and pictured Colline. He decided at that moment that he would fine a way to win her heart.
