Sorrel nodded slightly, about to speak when the waiter came back over with their food. Instead of speaking she began absent mindedly eating her food, once more thinking about having to go out with Nori, maybe she should've just backed down when William said he would get her scythe back. Pssh. Yeah right.

Ceelo nodded, and left the area, heading to the nearest store. Luckily this store had some gasoline. He used the change in his pocket to pay for it before leaving and heading back to where the bodies were.

When the waiter brought their food over, Kaycee started to eat as well. Silence fell*, and the the young shinigami started to think about what would happen when William mentioned something about her and Grell.

*me and Box totally didn't talk about THAT today....

She glanced around studying the scene.

Drocell tilted his head. "you might want to get some sleep, Max."

Max sighed loudly before saying " You sound like everyone else"

Zoe glanced out the window. " Ace.... What is it like being a demon.. You know. Is it weird?" She asked him softly. She glanced at him as he frowned "it's not fun, that I will say. As ot makes you a social outcast, branded out by others. Especially my type of demon. A Cruzix demon. Or a blood demon" she whispered.

"yes, but still. Everyone else is right. You want to get better, right?" Drocell reminded gently

"Yeah I guess" Max replied with the roll of his eyes. He ached all over now, medication slowly wearin off. Of course it wasn't really worn off, but it had a teeny tiny bit and that made the difference. He huffed "Don't let anything too fun happen without me then."

Sorrel leaned back in her chair once she'd finished her rice. She absent-mindedly played with the straw in her cup before taking a sip of the tea ,".. hmm , are you to ready to go?", she questioned, knowing lunch break was most likely over anyway. Not that being ontime was much of an issue for her.
