(Sorry for the shortness.)
CC
CC didn't say anything for a few moments, but he wasn't really sure why. It wasn't like he couldn't think of things to say... "I haven't seen them yet, and I'm not sure how long I'm going to be staying here," he replied. And, honestly, he wasn't sure if he wanted to stay here for that long. If he did, he would come back into their lives, force himself to find a place here again, then just have to get up and leave. He couldn't do that. Not again. The feeling that he had right now was kind of strange. He wanted to go see other people, especially his family, but at the same time he didn't. In the end he would have to leave anyways. There wasn't a way around that.
Roxanne
It hurt to watch him leave again, but now there wasn't anything she could do except watch. Watch as a part of her life moved away. Left. Again. Roxanne really wasn't sure how long she stood still, staring at nothing, She could feel tears welling up in her eyes, so she started for the house. Thinking distracted her. Once she got inside, she shot a glance at the clock and winced a little bit. She had to go to work, but she didn't want to. Right now, the only thing that sounded good to her was crawling into her bed and lying there for the rest of her life. Concentrating on one thing at a time really did help. First came the dog. Making sure that he was alright. Then came making herself look at least a little bit presentable. Then came car keys... then going outside and driving. It took her longer than it should have to get the key into the ignition, but even when she did, she didn't drive. Maybe she shouldn't go in today. Roxanne rested her head against the steering wheel and closed her eyes, trying to force herself not to think.

ASHLEYAshley smiled a little, looking down. As strange it may have been, he felt his cheeks grow warm with sweet memory of them being friends, of always being there. He sighed, feeling that memory fade away as reality of his ignorance and leaving problems seeping back into his life. He scooped up the cat, Ashley—what a nice name—and put his nose in the animal’s fur. He then, after the cat began to squirm, let it go and looked over at her. “Smells sweet.” He reached out and tucked a hair behind her ear. “Like you.” He wasn’t sure what to respond to her, after saying she actually did miss him. He, clearly, missed her but not in a perverted way. As a friend. That was what he missed. He missed the fun, tomboyish, chubby faced girl—and now here she was, pale, scarred up, and skinny as a bone. He sighed, rubbed his eyes and stood on his lankly legs. “Come on,” He held out a hand. “Let’s go find out how to make an Purdy Sandwich.”

{{here is the promised reply! and alright c:}}
He found himself simply staring around at the room where he lay on his back next to Bruce. Alright, so technically he was doing nothing more than staring up at the cieling, but still. He didn't know what he wanted to do, or what he didn't want to do. No, wait, he did. He sure as anything didn't want to see Sammi with the Quinn dude..."I'm not goth..." He pouted silently in his mind, cringing inwardly at the dude fixing his shirt for him like he was some little kid. "No...stop..." Jeremy scolded himself. He was just looking for anything and everything to put against that guy, and, as much as would love to do nothing else, he knew it was wrong to do and so forced himself to stop. Afterall, this was the guy who made Sammi happy, so he had some respect for the guy if for no other reason than that Sammi liked him. Sitting up and brushing a hand through his hair, Jeremy decided to go to the one place that always had everything he needed in order to vent. That is, the music store. From death metal to classical, that store had it all.
Getting himself put back together mentally, Jeremy grabbed the keys to his car, looking down at Bruce. Shrugging, not really caring what the dog did while he was gone, too drained to care really, Jinxx walked out the door, closing and locking it behind it and getting in his car. The drive was rather quick, Jeremy not living too awfully far away from the place, and soon enough he was parked and getting out of said car, walking across the parking lot to the door of the store.

ANDY . BIERSACK . 22
Andy leaned forward as Jake's voice broke through the mindless ringing. "Hey. Wait, are you driving?" he asked, eyebrow raised in interest. He had totally expected him to be passed out on some couch or maybe a bed, but the sound of rushing wind and some sort of static background hinted his was in a car. And that car must have been going pretty fast. Jake also sounded.. what? Really awake? There was a strange, almost false tune to his voice, but Andy ignored that. Jake was probably just drained from their trip home. He was usually drained after trips everywhere.
Out of five of them, Jake was probably the most laid-back. Well, Jinxx was pretty cool about things too, but Jake was.. well, he was just Jake. When you're describing people, there's really no way about it. A guy can be like someone in one way, but then totally different from the same person in another way. He supposed Jake could be compared with Batman. Batman could play things cool, with his awesome mask and everything. But Jake didn't have all those sick gadgets, and he wasn't as ferocious. But Andy was ferocious. And Andy could play it cool. He was so Batman. Wow, way to get offtrack.

The girl chuckles slightly, watching as her cat squirms away from Ashley. She pauses before giving a look at the kitten, the creature staring back as if he understood what it meant. "He's just not used to you, since he's never met you." Vintage mentions before standing up with a slight frown on her face. A sandwich. She whines to herself before reluctantly taking Ashley's hand.

ASHLEYSo soft that hand felt in his own that it almost made him shiver with delight. Almost, but not quite. Nothing was 'fine' between them yet. He still deserved, and patiently awaited, the knee in the gut. And although he agonized over every moment being lost, he could feel something soothing settle down in his heart. Everything would be alright today-- tomorrow, he wasn't sure.
Ashley made his way into the kitchen, hand never leaving Vinny's. He couldn't let go, not after all of this time gone and wiped away. He quickly slapped four pieces of bread onto the counter, smeared them with mayonnaise, slapped some meat he found in the fridge on them each, quickly squiggled-- yes, he still made smiley faces--some mustard on top and smashed the bread on the top. That, my friends, was the original, enduring Purdy Sandwich; nothing could ever come close. He turned to Vinny and on a whim of happiness, grabbed her in his arms and kissed her for a long moment. "Come," he said when he finally pulled back. "To the Purdy mobile. We are going to have a picnic."
QUINNJeremy Lew Ferguson, Jr. Beloved son, grandchild and nephew. Always loved, most in Heaven.
Those were the words that kept wrapped up in Quinn's head; he couldn't get them out. And as much as he tried, he could never look at his dearest fiance, Sammi, the same way he had once.
After being at Mr. Ferguson's, Jeremy's, place he had began to wonder about all of those pictures. By the time that flew by, he couldn't get the man's face out of his memory. It was something that began to nag at him, all until he simply got on the internet and researched. And that was all he needed: a few Google images and headlines. TRAGIC MOMENT FOR JEREMY AND SAMMI! Things like, BABY BORN DEAD TO JEREMY AND SAMMI! or CROWD GETS CHOKED UP AT DEATH. That hurt, in a way.
As much as Quinn had thought he knew Sammi, he was certain he was living, sleeping, and breathing with a stranger. So on that day, particularly when Sammi and Hanna were gone, he decided to go see for himself what came with Sammi's past.
So Quinn stood there, hands in trench coat, hair billowing in the wind, as he stared at that cold tombstone. Sammi's child. Jeremy's son. Born dead, to a world where he was the only one who didn't know. In a way, he could understand why she kept this hidden. And yet, there was some twisted anger he felt towards her. But finally, he let it go. This was in the past.
He slipped his phone from his pocket and taking a shaky breath, called attempted to call Sammi. But her phone seemed to be busy. Sighing, he looked at the other numbers on his cell. Only one was left was Adrianna's and Hanna's. He decided to try Hanna. "Hello? Cupcake? Where are you guys?" He tried to keep his voice level as he swiped at his burning eyes and running nose. How long had he been crying? He tried not to think about it, tried to focus on the gloomy sky and imagine a sweet, beautiful girl in which he could call his own. But Hanna wasn't his own. She was his brother's and that would never change.
