lash of radiation and light/fire whip off example)Male
SenselessHorse, but you can call me by any abbreviation of my username.
Hikari is my name, and I was named for the light my element brings.
As quiet and gentle as I may be, I am a boy.
I was shamed. My honor was lost; and my dignity with it.
On the day of my birth, the elders had a vision of fire, wild and ferocious, surrounding them, licking up at their paws. At the same second, lightning crashed against the corners of the world and the vision was no more. They had considered me as an ill omen, a harbinger of danger and death.
My mother was the only one who ignored the warnings of others. She loved me and taught me the ways of the kiamaras until one day, when I woke up, she was gone. The only hope in my life had faded; all that was left was a hole of despair. The others, of course, avoided me like the plague. I learned how to survive, and drew in the defiant courage of the annual Ignis, a sacred ceremony that was believed to give Kiamaras strength for the oncoming days.
So it was on Ignis when I was humiliated. I hunted for as many rabbits and squirrels I could stalk; I gathered the sweetest of fruits. When I returned with the kills and fruits, I set them on the feuaile rock, where all the food would be at. Ignoring the whispers of "the cursed one has brought us food", I settled down on a spot around the Great Fire. It was beautiful; dancing in fiery colors of gold and scarlet, and glowed deep blue at it's very core.

⁕ My name is Paper-Thorn.
I am trying out for this fire kiamara and the air elemental and the earth kia.
I really hope to take home any of those three.
⁕ Kasai
Pronounciation;; Kuh-sigh
Origin;; Japanese
Meaning;; Fire, Pure, Flame
Kasai means fire in Japanese. But in Polish or Greek it can mean pure. But I like the Japanese meaning and word more. Kasai can be written like this. 火災
Sky above me
Earth Below me
Fire within me
-Unknown
⁕ The design is very masculine and feminine at the same time. I feel though a male would suit this Kiamara just fine.

⁕ Kasai ran across the ridge of rocks that fenced in my home, as the fierce barks and howls of his pursuers got closer. Kasai had always been an outcast and today had been no different.
Kasai felt a pair of jowls latch onto his hind leg. He yowled in pain as the teeth tore the flesh. He turned his head quickly and growled in warning, as the Kiamara let go of his leg. The group of Kiamara’s ears flattened and their tail went between their legs, all of their eyes full of fear.
Kasai felt his anger and fear growing, but something started to burn inside of him. As Kasai nipped at his attacker, he saw all of them turn and run. Kasai’s eyes returned to normal and he lay on the rocks, nursing his wound.
-The Next Day-
As Kasai walked towards the pack of Kiamara’s that had chased him yesterday, he saw them slowly shy away. Confusion was written all over Kasai’s face.
The leader of the group padded up to Kasai, his face only inches away. “Leave now! Your kind isn’t wanted here.” The leader growled. Kasai felt the familiar burning inside him, still unsure of what it was.
And just like yesterday, the leader’s ears had pressed flat to his head. He started to back up a bit, before he turned and ran. Kasai wanted to know why everyone was running from him, so he chased after him.
As Kasai ran he had noticed his legs felt much stronger and he just felt stronger in general. With every stride, he could hear his heartbeat, as loud as a drum. He soon rounded a corner and was met with a sandy shore. He whipped his head around, his heart racing.
He had lost the leader. He roared out angrily, lashing at the water. The water rippled and he noticed where he had touched, was now steaming.
His eyes widened and the reflection of himself. His eye looked like there was a fire burning in them. His hear was messed and pointing in every direction. And his body bulged with his large muscles. He blinked several times and his eyes returned to their normal shade of dark red.
Stunned he stood there staring at the water as he returned to his normal form. There was a rustle from behind him, and his ears perked up, straining for any hint of noise. There was more rustling, and that’s all it took to send Kasai diving into the waters depths.
He kicked his legs as hard as he could, swimming as far as he could from the shore. He didn’t dare look back at the people he had once called ‘family’.
After several hours of swimming, he was on the verge of passing out. Only a few tail lengths from an islands shore. He desperately used the last of his strength to reach the hot, white sand.
With a satisfying grunt, he dragged himself onto the shore and passed out.
~
When he awoke, he was in a huge cavern. He felt the heat radiating off the rocks, as he stood up. He felt his legs give out from under him. He collapsed onto the hot rocky ground. He didn’t feel like he had earlier while running. He felt weak, dead, and tired. And darkness engulfed him once more.
He woke to feel something, warm and wet being dripped onto him. His eyes shot open and he stood, and shook his pelt. Lava flung off him and stuck to the walls.
He watched the hot liquid solidify into rock. He stood there stunned. ‘Why was I covered in lava?’ He had asked himself. Not expecting an answer, he heard a deep voice reply.
‘You nearly killed yourself’
Kasai gave off a low growl, “I’m not afraid of you come out!”
‘I cannot, for I am in your head’
“Then get out!” Kasai barked back.
‘You cannot get rid of me. Don’t worry master, you are loved and wanted here. You aren’t alone. Those people back there don’t realise how special you are, or how powerful you are.’
Kasai was about to bark something in return, but found no point. So he made his way to a tunnel off to the side of the cavern. As the light of the sun, reached his dark adapted eyes, he was blinded momentarily.
As his eyes adjusted he could make out his surroundings. He was standing in one of the 3 volcanoes, and the rest was jungle.
Light reflected off something on the third volcano, the one farthest from him. With his keen vision he could just make out a temple, carved into the side of the volcano. With a crest of fire carved just above it.
‘Welcome home, sire’
⁕This will be what the other elements and he thinks of each other.
Water)-
Fire and Water, unlike you would think, actually get along. Well they tolerate each other. Most people say fire and water is like baking soda and vinegar, when it usually isn’t the case. Of course they sometimes argue and fight, but they are like siblings. One is always looking out for the other.Fire)-
Fire is aggressive and not afraid to speak his mind. If you ask for his opinion, he will be honest. Sure his opinion can be cold hearted or mean, but its honest. Even though fire is brutally honest, he does get along well with others. Usually.Earth)-
Fire and Earth, they are the terrible two. Fire and Earth are always teaming up against air or water, to pull pranks on them. But earth is the quieter and calmer of the two. She usually gets Kasai out of a mess he’s in, and fire does just the same for earth.Air)-
Fire and Air, don’t get along at all. At first sight of each other, their quarrel. Fire hates how easy going and calm air is, and air hates how loud, and aggressive he is. Air will usually act calm even at the worst of times. For example, a volcano could be erupting onto a village, and she would calmly float down and blow the lava away. She just doesn’t show fear, and it annoys fire.
I was born in the tunnels. The tunnels are my life and my breath. I could walk through the tunnels with my eyes closed. I have, many times. There are so many different worlds down there, in the warm, loving darkness. There's a few caves I particularly like. The first is a large cavern, with thousands of stalagmites and stalactites growing from the floor and ceiling. The only way to cross it is to walk along a thin walkway that circles the cavern. The main part of the cave is full of water, water that's so still that it works almost as well as a mirror.
