I was crouched, ready for battle. My opponent was stood on the opposite side of the clearing. But this was no battle. I was training with SilverHeart. My name isn't StoneClaw for nothing. I leaped at her, bounding across the vast clearing. My paws hardly touched the ground. I felt like a bird. Then, I sprang. Misjudging the timing completely, I flew over the top of the beautiful she-cat's head and tumbled over into a thorn bush. Grumbling to myself, I dragged my legs out of the bush, looking sheepish. I had failed. Back in my rogue clan, I would have been sent back to camp in disgrace, and been a target for the stronger apprentices as punishment. I hissed at myself. "It doesn't feel right." I muttered, limping back to my starting point with a bleeding leg.

Flare puffed up with pride, then looked at Castiel. "What about you uncle Castiel?" he asked, tilting his head. Castiel sighed sadly. "Now is not the best time for me to join, but don't worry, I will be there for you, even when you do not know it."
