Trinn: Well, obviously, a ghost. I don't think there's anything closer to what he is than just a random spirit of the dead.

Adera: Mermaid. She's seductive and slippery, as well as being physically attractive. Maybe a siren would even fit her better, she loves to lure innocent sailors into her traps.

Azalia: Well, she's a Faun (short, happy goat people). What with her curly fur and boundless energy. She loves to dance, be merry, and look on the bright side of things. She also seems unable to take anything seriously!



What is your kiamara's favourite food?
Trinn likes persimmons, but he really can't enjoy food much in his state.
Adera likes all kinds of things, but if you asked, she would probably say lean rabbit.
Azalia... Melted Cotton Candy. That's all there is to it!

Furfur is a Fallen Angel. It was kind of the point of his contest. :3 Because he appears to be innocent, with his pale colours and the fact he's a child, but he's actually a rather dark-minded Kia.

Hmmmm I agree with being careful towards giving "PMs" I think if not careful when wording messages it might appear a harassment or judgmental. I think it's fair however to ask in forms "will you be active in the fan fourm," because artists love there work and probably wish to have interaction with the new characters they choose for the design.

Yeah I don't think messaging owners is the best idea, which I believe I mentioned before. It pressures the owners into thinking that we're stalking them and jumping at their backs to see some new art or avatar of the Kiamara being flashed around. I had a friend who just the other day got a message asking about her character, with someone asking if she still wanted it because she "didn't see any new drawings of it".

Yeah, agreeing with this, please don't PM people.

I got PMs about my JBDs and Kiamaras, as well as other characters... You never know how active someone is, or what they are doing. I know for one that I tend not to be active in a community, rather, I find a few people and talk with them about the species. It's just who I am.

And on the topic of being 'active' I find it unfair when people put that on forms and then judge on it. Quite frankly, it annoys me because then we have a flood of new members who are trying to prove they are 'active' so they have a better chance of winning.

Active really, to me, just means if they remember the character or not. I think about my characters often, but as you can see, I don't role-play or draw them much. That doesn't mean I don't DO anything of those things, of course, it just means /you/ don't see it.

Anyway, don't PM people. It's annoying and hurtful.

I agree with this very much, I dislike it when people do this to me.
edit- XD The thing I just don't enjoy is roleplaying any of my characters unless its with very close friends, it always feel awkward when it's with a stranger. vnv

Psh, the pm I got wasn't hurtful at all, it was nice to be receiving something actually. It didn't pressure me either.
Though I do see your points.. it may have that effect. Though I still think it was a good idea. ^^;

Yeah, active does have different meaning to different people I guess. I think of my characters all the time but I have so many I couldn't possibly draw them all in the same day, maybe even month. Though I do love them. <3

Guys, keep in mind that just because a person doesn't advertise their characters online left and right doesn't mean that they don't think about or appreciate the character.

I have tons of characters and I admit, I think about them a lot. If I were to list my top five favorite OCs of mine, you probably would find little to nothing about them on my CS or dA. You have to realize that a lot of people here are busy middle schoolers, high schoolers, and hey, even collage students or adults, so really, roleplaying or drawing a fictional character of theirs that they love should be the last thing on their priorities list.

I know all of you guys mean well and want to have more people to talk to and interact with, but I think it's best if we respect others wishes to be "inactive" with their Kiamaras and not to PM them. Live and let live. =)
