Ancient Cultures Special #5- Ancient North American

Postby SerenWish » Wed May 15, 2013 2:15 am

Alright, alright! So this little lady is more recent then the other cultures I mentioned. Well the Mayan guy isn't....quite as old as Egypt/Mesopotamia. But you know what? XD Just forget about that for a moment. And admire this little lady, who is probably my favorite, by a hair, out of the bunch. And yes, I didn't give her a ring around the eye, because it is very commonly seen in "Indian pony" adopts. Though people aren't quite at fault because the ring was commonly used as a symbol of power among the tribes who rode horses.

Here is # 5 in my “Ancient Cultures” series- Ancient North American! These ponies are all based on ancient cultures- their customs, history, and myths. Each one is special, for more reasons then just appearance!

-All of the ponies are based on a different culture.
-They all come in unusual colors and/or patterns.
- All of them have a special accessory.
-They are all customizable- you can have painted markings (like glyphs, etc.) added if you win them, all you have to do is ask!
- All of these ponies can pass down accessories to their foals! Not just the ones you see either!

In order to win this lass, just fill out the form! I will be judging on effort in the creative area, interesting names, and of course, correct answers in the trivia portion! Don’t worry if you aren't sure of the answers, correct answers boost your likelihood of winning her, but a good creative piece goes just as well.

This mare’s foals can have: Feather Hair Ornament (Shown, Minimal), Claw Necklace (Shown), Saddle Blanket. (Some accessories might cost a bit extra to get, depending on how difficult they are.)

Of course most of you know about "spirit animals"- so I want you to tell me what this lady's spirit animal would be and why! And, for the bigger piece, I want a picture, or a story, of this little lady as an "Indian Pony" going on a journey. It can be just a trip to a new place, into battle- whatever you like!

What would this mare’s “spirit animal” be and why? A bear, because they are know to be wise in the Native Tribes. The would guide lost Indians back to there tribe. She also has the mark of the bear on her front leg, if im right.
Creative Piece about her journey: Yepa was the lead horse on the battle against the neighboring tribe. They were new and different there skin was white and they carried strange metal things. She was a little frisky and worried for her rider but she was smart and knew when she needed to get out. They drove forward, the battle went well at the beginning but soon fell at the end. Her and her rider were being driven to the waters edge, but she wasn't going to give up. She ran as fast as she could jumped over the river landing perfectly on the other side. Her enemies weren't able to stop soon enough and splashed into the river. She backed up once again and gracefully leaped over the river. Is the creative piece just a drawing or a whole story?
