Name: Wind Talker/Age: 5 years/Rank: Healer/Crush: No one/Mood: Proud and/Location: Healer's Cavern/Company: Cher, just departing. The mare nodded to Cher as they trotted back to the cave. She smiled at her protégé, proud of the little filly. For her pupil had passed the test with only one minor mistake: she couldn't remember the uses of pine bark. An easy mistake to make, especially for one still in training. Wind Talker was willing to overlook this small mistake. She thought her pupil's hard work and dedication to learning was deserving of a break. "Go straight ahead to the cavern and rest, Cher," the mare nickered softly, running her teeth through Cher's mane to untangled a knot. Once she had finished, she pulled her head back. "I need to speak to our lead stallion, since he wanted to hear about your progress." The mare gave the filly a quick nuzzle before heading up to the leader's cavern. She was immensely proud of the filly's performance today. It seemed like only yesterday she was first learning the uses of mint leaves.
They sure grow up fast.... The mare knew one day she'd have to let go and allow the filly to grow up into her own mare. She almost saw Cher as her own daughter. But she knew her judgement couldn't afford to be clouded. The mare continued on, trying not to think about it too much. "Dusk? Are you here?" she whinnied, once she reached the cavern. Her ears were pricked forwards, waiting for a response.
Name: Cherry Blossum 'Cher'/Age: 2 years/Gender: Filly/Rank: Foal/Crush: No one/Mood: Excited, but quite tired from her test/Location: Healer's Cavern/Company: Wind Talker, now departingThe filly trotted back to the cavern, her tail flowing like the wind behind her. "I did it!" she squealed to herself. "I passed! I passed! I passed!!!" She stopped by her little patch in the Healer's cavern and shook her mane. A small yawn escaped her mouth. "Oh my. I'm that tired already?" she whispered to herself. Assuming that the test had worn her out, Cher got down onto one side, lying down in a semi-upright position. Her front legs were tucked up underneath her while her back legs were kicked out behind her. She sighed happily. Today had been such a good day. Her eyes slowly began to close...
