Dear little fluffy chicks at school;

I love you. I love you alot. I know there are seven of you, but i'm giving you names, all of you, even though you're not mine. You've pecked my heart out, and i'm really tore up inside that you'll be leaving on Friday. I know you're not mine, but i am owning you and no one can stop me. You little babies, you must of been scared to have loads of people crowding your home, standing tall and blocking that sunshine, with only a lightbulb, people yelling "AWWWW!" in your face and whatnot.

But i came and sang a lullaby to you, just to comfort you. I will be your new mommy until you go back to the farm. I will interact with you through the plastic screen that blocks me from stroking you. No wonder my username on CS is Fluttershy, i love animals that much. But please little chicks, accept me as your mommy for the rest of the week.

I will go to all lengths to comfort you and make you happy, i love you that much. You hatched around us humans, so i'm sure your used to seeing faces like that. You were born in my school. But remember my friend is also your mommy, so she's helping me. Although animals aren't her thing, she's still helping. And every night your alone in the school, sleeping. I fear that something might happen to you at night.

I hope you'll be happy at your new home come Friday, i will be happy if you are happy.

Dear God,

I wish my world was clear. It would be such a blessing to be able to see a non-blurred world. Sure, it looks very artsy sometimes, but I've seen a world clear before. I remember what a clear world looks like.

And oh, what I would give to have the option to return to that world of clear. My mother refuses to get me glasses. She claims they make my eyesight worse. But oh... When I borrow the glasses of my friends, who has the same eyesight as me according to the horrid numbers, the world is so so beautiful. I could see the lines between each and every flower in my pink tree, the beautiful texture of the floor beneath me, the detail in everything around me. What a beautiful world it was.

But I can't see that world. Without glasses, the world I live in is but a blur. Perhaps I should be happy I am not blind. And I am not dead. Nor am I sickly. But I've been given a taste of heaven when I borrowed those glasses for a few seconds that day, and it is so difficult not to hope and wish. Maybe someday, I'll have glasses.

Will I look bad in glasses? Be laughed at? But I do not care if I am laughed at or look bad. I do not care what others think of me if I am able to see a clear world, where the outline of each leaf is clear and each line is distinct and special. A world of clear is special and a blessing so many take for granted.

A world of clear is my only wish.

I have never, not once, not ever, been able to have a real conversation with you. Every time I bring something serious up, you give me that look - the raised eyebrow, looking around with an odd expression look. I will never be able to talk to you about anything. EVER. I tried to talk to you about something that was bothering me, but it was obvious you did not give a cheese. I want to be friends with you, but I just need you to know we will never have a conversation. I seriously hope you think about it, 'friend.' Because I am getting tired of this. If you are not a friend I can't actually talk to about something serious, I would much rather to not talk to you about something funny.

Dear Boo Boo,

Look, I know it's not ideal, but my father has a point. You work full time at a Taco Bell, and the guys that work with him work part time and make more than you do now. Soon, they will be making even more, since the season is starting. Now tell me that wouldn't be nice?
I know that he isn't your favorite person, but deep down he really does like you. Even if it isn't a whole lot. He offered you a job, didn't he? He wants you to do good with your life and not be a bum.
I know that the work is difficult, I do. I've worked with him before, it was exhausting. But I loved it. I felt accomplished, and good about myself. And even though I moved to a different branch, it's sad that I get paid more working half time than you do full time.
Please, just think about it. You'll make good money, and we can leave here sooner. Isn't that what you want?

Dear Close Friend,

You are my second half, literally. We think alike, dress alike and act alike, and I know I've been sort of a drag here lately, pretty much telling you what you can and cannot do. I'm sorry, I just hate seeing you grow up. You're three years younger than me and are maturing at the same pace I am, you're only 13(almost 14) you need to slow down a bit. I know that I'm over protective, but you've been my close pal since you were 5, I just hate seeing you mature in a way that you don't need me to guide you anymore, I remember having to explain all the small things to you, now you seem to know everything. I've just been feeling un-needed lately, even though I know it's not true. I trust your decisions in life, it just hurts to see that you're prepared to make some of these decisions at such a young age. You've always been like a younger sibling to me, you're still so small in my eyes, yet you're ready for bigger things and I'm holding you back. I'm so sorry.
