yeah my parents are the same. I gave up on my father but my mother still appreciates my company. It still would not hurt to hug your mother and tell her she is loved and appreciated.

I bought my mother a stuffed penguin (she loves penguins) and a hummingbird feeder since her old one broke. I wont get to see her until tuesday though.

I remember when I was in gradeschool I made my mom a strange looking pot with two spouts. lol. I painted it with neon paint. She still has it!

Please pray for my family, this is the first Mothers Day where my Nana didn't call, because she died. My mom was having a rough time and I was struggling sometimes as well. I am not sure about my Dad, sister, or brothers. But our Birthdays are coming up and it will be the first year without her calling, so this year will be difficult.

As for Mothers Day....I forgot it was mothers day...0_o, I am a bad bad daughter. My sister gave her a card as well as the youngest boy in the family. I did the dishes and gave her a hug. (:
