This roleplay will be based off of the book series Maximum Ride, with a plot that will be very similar to the original with only a few variations, depending on the created characters. This RP will be Semi-Lit/Lit, meaning that if you do not have correct gramar and puncuation, it is very likely that you won't be accepted.

In this RP, the six original flock characters will be available for RPing. It will not be first come first served, but instead will be decided by your audition, so everyone has a fair chance and amount of time to try out for the first six characters. After they are taken, there will no longer be auditions, and you can create your own characters that are not in the books. I thought it would be interesting to mix it up a bit, so I hope it will be.

1. For the first six characters {Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, The Gasman, Angel} there will be auditions, of which you must participate in if you want to have one of these characters. I am Max, so she cannot be auditioned for.
2. This is a Semi-Lit/Literate roleplay. If you cannot use proper grammar or punctuation, then you will most likely not be accepted. And please, post at least {bare minimum} five sentences per post.
3. Keep everything PG-13, including Romance and Violence. As far as swearing goes, you may type the first letter and then * out the rest. Please follow this rule, I am very persistent about this one.
4. I understand Writer's Block, but please try very hard to post at least two sentences if this is the case.
5. I reserve the right to not accept and/or kick out characters/users who are not following the rules. I also reserve the right to ban from this RP. Let's not let it come to that.
6. I have no secret phrase/word for you to write in a certain color in your form. If you follow the rules, great, if you don't, you get kicked out after two warnings.
7. Please do not ignore other people's characters. It is rude and discourages the other RPer from participating, which is not the purpose of a roleplay.
8. Please do not post more than two pages without me being online. I am not going to get drowned out of my own RP. {...It's happened before, sadly. }
9. Please stick to the main plot as much as you can, and don't have your character go galavanting through the countryside without ever returning. Miniplots are okay, but only one or two at a time, including romances.

Personality: He is a very solemn, somber individual, and not much for talking or giving any sign of humor...though he does have a very dry, dark sense of one. He is very intelligent and calculating, always thinking, which is part of the reason for his silence. He will only talk when absolutely necessary, i.e. when very happy or when spoken to.
History: He won't even think about it...at all. Ever.
Power(s): He can heal others and has complete control over Shadows and anything to do with darkness.

Audition For This Character: The shadows of people passing on the street, cast by the streetlights onto the damp walls of the alley, created an eerie puppet show. From where he sat against the dark wall of the alley, Fang named each figure as it passed on the wall and gave it a story that somehow tied it to the next figure that passed. He was sure that to anyone passing, his figure, slumped against the wall, would look like that of a drunk. But he didn't care. His blood pooled around him as it poured from his arm. He was trying his best to keep pressure on it, but he felt to weak to keep a decent grasp. He knew it would be healed by morning, but he feared he'd lose too much blood.
**SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T READ "FANG"**
Wearily, he wished he had never left the flock. Dying was better than living without them everyday of his life. It would have been selfish to stay with them, but right now he felt like being selfish. He closed his eyes tightly and wished the flock were here. Right now. Surrounding him with their familiarity in this strange city. So that way, at the very worst, he wouldn't die alone.

Description: She looks like the picture, except her hair is dark. One of her eyes is blue and the other is dark green with flecks of gold.
Personality: Chayse is mischievous to say the least. She gets a good laugh out of pulling little pranks, no matter how many times she gets told it's childish and she loves to defend the flock. Believe it or not, she actually enjoys ripping apart anything the white-coats throw at the flock. She'll speak her mind, even if others may not always agree with her and she can be skeptical at times. On the other hand, she does have a mellow side. she loves to make others laugh and she has a way of making her mistakes funny (at her expense). She respects authority (most of the time) and she has a bit of an artistic streak, so she's usually sketching or writing.
History: Chayse was kept in secret, the white-coats' "Plan B" if you will. Their mother gave up Chayse and Fang at the same time, but when the flock went through the papers and found their biological parents, Chayse's paper was stuck to Fang's.
Had anyone simply found the paper right behind Fang's they would have discovered his biological twin sister and perhaps rescued her. Instead, while the flock was taken by Jeb and they grew up outside the school, Chayse remained trapped.
She finally escaped with _____ (if anyone else creates a character, you can PM me and we can say they escaped together) just before the Flock put an end to the School. While flying, she saw the flock by some odd chance of luck and she met up with them.
Fang, confused by their similar appearance decided to look through the papers again, this time he discovered Chayse's paper.
Power(s): Invisibility (like Fang) Energy sourcing ("Ability to draw power from large or small but abundant sources of energy, such as turning kinetic energy into physical blasts or converting solar energy into other forms. Sometimes based on proximity to source, sometimes stored for future use")
