nice to get to talk to ya finally. i've heard a lotta hype about this foreign exchange thing so i'm hoping it lives up to it's fame. i'm looking forward to finally getting to see new york, just one more place that's got a big name to live up to. you better give me the grand tour. and hey it's not a big problem, parents will be parents.
as a matter of fact i am scottish, the name does give it away. my mum's from scotland, grew up there, but my dad's from south london. bit of a pair.
i'm looking forward to meeting you! better start planning the tour now.

oh no, not at all! you'll get used to awkward when it comes to me, it's fine. i'm looking forward to your arrival; i hope it's alright that we're sharing a room. our house isn't too large.
we don't really have very many unique names. you get a lot of carly's and brianna's all over the place. i've never heard a name like yours before, sounds a lot like a book character. i like it. you can call me dizzy if you'd like, most people do. but disaster is fine too. either way i don't mind.
eagerly awaiting your arrival i suppose. hope you don't get sick of me too fast.

it's not putting yourself down when it's true, you'll see once you get here. i'm glad that's okay, i'm out a lot on weekends anyway so if you don't want to get dragged alone you'll have the room to yourself.
