From what i've seen Re-releases are of lesser value, I would add at least two to three more rares on the purple toxic's side.

That's not true re-releases are worth the exactly same value as the original creature. It is just that some users prefer true date ones compared to re-released ones.

Ah, my apologies, I've just tried to trade with re-releases and have been told that it was a trade down.
