Yea gotta agree with zacharie on this one. The petition is sorta rude to the band members because it makes it sound like we don't respect their decision to call it quits. Just seems whiny and demanding in my opinion.

What bands have you guys been listening to/seen live since the breakup? Anyone discover any good new bands at a show or something?

agreed. i hope for a comeback/reunion tour so i can see them live (those will be some HOT tickets) but it's waaaaaaay to early for that. give 'em a few years.

as far as music goes i've been kind of dying. xD
i still listening to MCR, but not just their main CDs, like the b-sides, singles (like Under Pressure with The Used or Desolation Row) and such. kind of enjoying all of it and nursing the wound that is their break up.
other than that, new bands...um... sadly lacking...the music of today is all so blah...
genre hopping is what works best for me. i've been jumping from k-pop, to pierce the veil, to celtic woman, to phil collins, nirvana, within temptation, michael jackson, disney movie songs, marina and the diamonds, and god knows what else.

there's no one like MCR, no one who can come close so.... i don't even try.

Ooh, sorry I've been so MIA for the past few weeks/months. I've been trying to get school stuff all sorted out since my last day is Wednesday next week.
The whole break-up thing has been really hard for me, I've mostly let all the festering super-sadness go, but it still hurts if I think about it too much.

Gosh, I haven't posted on here in months. Welp since about last year and I've changed my username about a billion times.., I have been so busy >.<
Anyway, I agree with everyone above. I feel like they've done enough for us, petitioning for a come-back tour seems slightly unfair to them. They all have families and other things that need taking care of. Believe me the break-up has been extremely hard on me and I would kill to get to actually see my hero's in concert, but we owe them the break. They will forever be in our hearts guys~

The other day I was listning to Neon trees and the fun fact said

Neon trees hopes to follow in the recently broken up band My Chemical Romances' foot steps, by becoming humble in front of the media.the lead singer said in a recent interview that he hoped to be half the band MCR was and that it would be like becoming a hero

Needless to say it really warmed my heart. <3
