Blackwillow yawned and slipped out of his den, his slender form silently stretching in the dawn light. He started to groom his short, white pelt, flicking his tail.

((Sure, AJ Your cat is Mousestalker, right? Riversong is gonna be his mate, I'm posting now ^_^ And is the person who plays Eaglepaw on? o_O By the way Art, I'm adding the new form with my other ones and editing Blazehowl's mate section :3 May I please have the name of your cat? OH, and you guys can just call me Ace if you want ))

With a small stretch, Blazehowl decided to get up for some exercise. She had been cooped up in the den and it wasn't working well with her muscles. Sticking her head out of the den's entrance, she caught sight of Blackwillow and smiled.

Riversong padded into the clan's territory, having been to the stream for a drink and just to get rid of some cramps she's been having from the kits.

Blackwillow heard a rustle and looked over to the nursery, seeing his mate. He purred softly and padded over to her and touched noses with her gently. "How are you?" His voice was deep and soothing as he spoke quietly.

[bawnbawn.]

Blazehowl softly chuckled, rubbing her nose with Blackwillow's as she absently smiled. "I'm doing great, and what about you?" She answered in a soft voice.

[luxray;]

"Fine. Just a bit busy now that Amberthorn is dead." He looked up at the Tallrock, seeing that his brother was not yet up. "How close are you to kitting?" He purred at the thought of his kits, maybe one of them would follow their uncle one day!

{{ Ima just say that Amberthorn died. }}

"I'm sorry about Amberthorn." Blazehowl mumbled, looking up at Blackwillow with genuine sorrow in her eyes before changing the topic to a better one. "Apparently really soon; the kits are kicking a lot now." She explained with a happy smile.

(The old deputy. I guess you haven't been here for long enough to know that c:)
Blackwillow nodded. The white tom smiled and nuzzled his mate. "I'm glad. New kits will be a blessing to the clan, and to us. Flamestar will be enthused that he has new kin."


Flamestar stepped out of his den, seeing his brother and Blazehowl chatting. He smiled, and yawned, thinking about patrols, and also the new choice of deputy.

"Yup, we'll have around 3 kits, the medicine cat said." Blazehowl replied with a proud gleam in her eyes as she wrapped her bushy tail around Blackwillow's. Seeing Flamestar pop out of his den, she sent him a smile. "Hi there, Flamestar."

Flamestar dipped his head to the queen in greeting. He smiled at her and started to groom his pelt.

Blackwillow purred and nodded, his eyes closed as he thought of his kits.
