Crushes, Boyfriends and Girlfriends | V3

I went to my auditions today for my new school {it's a performing arts magnet school} and I got to see a lot of people I'll be going to school with next year. My friend had told me about a guy who was at the school when she went to register. She said he'd be perfect for me, and also happens to be an Of Mice & Men fan {i really love them...lol}. So we saw him today cause he was volunteering. He's apparently a songwriter & whatnot, and really cute like my friend said. He's also only a year older than me. My friend kept poking me and trying to get me to ask him for his number, lolol. So I'm developing a little crush on him,even though I won't see him till next school year. I'll have that time to learn more about him because the fact that he kept hugging all these girls kind of annoyed me....I'm not sure if he's just very friendly, or really flirty. He seems kind of quiet, and a bit shy though. I did have to talk to him. All I did was ask if I was supposed to go into the room or not though xD
Any ideas if he's a flirty type, or just really friendly though? I guess I'll find out next year, but I just wanna hear some idea.s He seems like one of those confusing guys....

I guess I'll have to gather the courage and ask him to the next school dance. *crosses fingers for luck*

Hello peoples~

I doubt that anyone remembers me talking about my best friend R that had a major crush on me, since that was a long time ago, but even if you don't, I'm gonna talk some more about that XD.

Okay, so, bottom line: lots of stuff happened, blahblahblah, we're dating now and we have been for about a month and I'm pretty happy :3

Anyways, what I want to talk about is a first kiss when you're in a relationship. I've kissed guys I've dated before, so it's not my first first kiss, but I want to talk about my first kiss with him, which hasn't happened yet. We've sort of talked about it and he wants to but I'm nervous about it. I don't know why, since I've kissed guys before and some of them I had no problem with it and I wasn't nervous at all. But I'm nervous about this one. Anyone got some tips on how I could get over this nervousness and be able to just go for it?

Fhsksjdskanal All the other girls I know (it seems) Have had/do have a boyfriend. I'm not sure if I should feel jealous or happy I've never had one... I've been asked out quite a few times, however.... My first Primary school did not allow couples and dating and boyfriends and girlfriends and blah blah blah so I'm definately not used to it. I came to a new school and KINDERGARTENS have 'couples'. (not real ones, but you sorta get what I mean with them copying the 'big kids') CX

same here, been asked loads of times, but never had a boyfriend, i want to know wha its like, but i also dont want to rush into things, my friends have had more than one boyfriend, and tehy are really shocked that i've never been out with anyone, but i suppose are time will come.

I don't understand how you expect a poll to help you. You are relying on other people's tastes in boys to make your own decision. You really need to buck up and make the decision YOURSELF; no one else can make it for you.

Things I value in a guy weren't even mentioned and either way I'm sure they're both much too young for me. It's your life. You choose. You can't make everyone else shoulder the responsibility of this decision and then have a scapegoat to blame when you went with the 'wrong' guy. The ball is in YOUR court, so go with it! It's just teen life; there will be so many other guys and opportunities in your life regardless of whether either of these work out or not.

To the more recent posters:
Dude, you are normal and not alone. Just look at having been able to relate to each other already; that suggests there are tons of other people who feel the same. I didnt date until college and you know what? I was never even asked in grade school, except once as a joke. How's that for confidence-killing, eh? And yes, ALL of my friends dated at least once in high school except me. Forever alone? Not really; I wasn't 18 yet, had amazing friends, and a good family. During my second or third year of college I experienced interest in me for the first time. A year ortwo after that, was sort of seeing someone on and off. Ended that nonsense finally, and now have been with a fantastic man for over a year.

Your middle or high school days do not define you. Rather, they are part of a whole, part of the experiences in your past that make you YOU.
