"I mean, when we're older," Shade amended, his fur going into an even darker shade of black.

Yuki smiled and licked Shade's cheek. "Yes!" She barked happily, wagging her tail.

Teru suddenly became conscious again and lifted his head, looking around the den. Chako? Fuji? Chi? ((He calls Chiyo Chi...)) He quickly limped out of the den and collapsed by a tree, not wanting to be helped...

Shade smiled, and heard a thump! He whipped around and saw Teru, "Idiot! Not again!" he ran over and pulled him back to the healer's den. "What did i tell you about moving?!"

((The Leader's pack attacked Shadow Pack, and as always, Shadow Pack won. X3 Yara is waiting to face the Leader in single combat and just now there was a human attack...That's basically it.))

"You never told me anything." Teru growled. He ignored Shade and ran out of the den, leaving a blood trail behind him. Something was wrong with him...He had never acted like this before...

Chiyo limped toward Chako and stood in front of her, keeping his left front paw off of the ground. "Mum...Can I tell you something? About why you think I'm 'getting so strong'?"

"of course," Chako said, surprised he had called her "mum" for the first time just now.

"Get back here!" Shade howled, charging after the injured pup. "Do you want to die? Do you want your mom to miserable?!"

Chiyo pulled at a bit of fur on his leg until it came off, and then he licked away the blood that was coming out. There was metal. "I tried to keep it a secret by being all shaky and nervous, but now I can't hide it anymore..." He looked down at the ground and closed his eyes, then continued, "When I was born, my owner didn't want me because there were lots of 'better' puppies. My owner sent me away to an animal testing place. It was horrible...I always woke up to screaming and crying...The humans took me out and put metal under my skin for no reason whatsoever. It's all in my legs and chest...That's why when I was shot I didn't react..."

"I don't care about her anymore. She's responsible for my Dad's death. I tried to be nice to her when I found out. But I can't help it anymore. She just stood there and watched my Dad die." Teru growled, skidding to a halt when he heard Shade.

"SHE SAVED YOUR LIFE! SHE NEARLY COMMITTED SUICIDE BECAUSE OF YOU!!! HE KILLED HER BEST FRIEND'S MATE AND HER MATE'S FRIEND! SHE LOVES YOU, DAMN IT!!!" Shade howled angrily, trying not to kill the pup for his ignorance, "FUJI STILL CARES, EVEN IF YOU DON'T!"

Teru ignored Shade and stalked towards Chako, baring his fangs at her. "I hate you..." He growled at her.

"what?!" Chako said, taken aback. What happened?

Mika whispered, "It's all-help her, chiyo!"
