The reason is that she is part of the water elements, and to mean she made a ripple in my eyes to go for my first Kia. In my hopes is that she won't be just another Kia, and perhaps that she can be with me and change the community around them with her name. This is the reason for her name, and to me it means a new change and a new life in a still pond.

Female, at first she looked like a boy, but in the end I decided she would be a tomboy and a girl for my first Kia.
The day my element was discovered:
The water was cool as I touched the pound lightly with my paw and seen a ripple form soon after that moved the nearby lily pads gently. It was a full moon tonight, and it felt so calm against the bank of the pound as fireflies buzzed around the water flowers, cattails, and other plants with a sort of untold peace that was found in the oddest of nights. I didn't know much about this night I heard about my element, but it seemed to me that this night held more then just a sleep against the soft breeze or a late night swim that was delight. I sighed gently as I moved my paw throughout the water, a bit bored, but enjoying the cold feeling that touched my paw from the hot afternoon just hours before. A sudden ripple in the water happened beside me as my head lifted up from the dirt ground to view the sudden event, and what I noticed was quite odd to my sea colored eyes. The water was bubbling as if something was under the surface. I began to stand, but I couldn't move away as a small large bubble floated up from below, and inside it was a charm as it glowed lightly from within. The orb floated higher from the very tip of the water, and began to hover closer to me as I stood very still. "Hello their my daughter." It spoke with a calm voice, and yet I found my voice to sudden reply to it. "Your daughter?" I asked the orb. Then, with a sudden shake the orb grew small in size and seem to float down a few inches as the water from the lake formed around it to make a water Kia that stared at me with black eyes, and a dark sea colored tone as the water swirled around the orb at the center of it's heart. "Um, hello their?" I asked the Kia. The Kia smiled and looked at the sky. "Hello dear I am here because it seems it is time for you to accept your element like others before you. You have water in your blood by me dear daughter, and even if you say you are born of others, you are originally my own daughter that came from this water and was an orphan at birth. I have came to find you in this little place, and decided to give you my spirit to become a elemental Kia that can change the world like other elementals as well." My head was spinning, I was no hero, no born destiny, I was born to everything normal right? "Wrong dear, I am your mother, and this element is not a matter of choice, but in time perhaps you will be a hero, and a rightful Kia of the water just like me Aquain," and as she finished with her voice the sudden name gave me a jolt as images flew in my head to fast to see, but understanding of who she was to me. My mother, the spirit of the water, and the rightful owner of the element and her time of owning it was over. "Mom, why is this? I don't want to be anything but normal like others," I said with my voice scared and in fear, which normally was odd for me but in truth if you found out your a Kia that will change the world then even any Kia would have been nervous as well. My mother laughed softly before letting her water paw rest on my shoulder, and her voice become soothing to my ears. "Dear, it seems very scary now, but you will learn in time by any events before you. Friends and family will help you, and soon you will become a hero to others and protect them with my spirit just like I have done for years. I know it seems like a dream, but my time must end and you must begin my dear. I love you, and become a great Kia like all the others before you," she said as the water began to float back into the pond, and the orb remained floating in the place before coming towards me and shattering near my right wrist as the charm tightened itself around my fur. My fur began to swirl like the water in marks of the water, and small tones changed color from odd blue to like that of the sea. I didn't know then what really happened that night, but that night I earned my element and began the guardian of the sea.

When is the end date?
You have exactly one week, so this ends on the 18th.
There will most likely be no extensions, but this is quite a short and simple contest so please have everything done by then n.n

Dear Diary,

It was snowing outside, just as it had been for the past week. I had stocked up on food, but was running low.. There was no chocie, I had to go out and get more...Somewhere. I drank some water from the natural hot-spring in the back of my cave, letting hot water warm me as it went down. Then I walked to the entrance, "One...Two...Three!" I said and bolted into the blizard. It felt as if it was hailing, the snow stung my eyes and nose and I couldn't see four feet infront of me. The snow on the ground came up to my hocks, my paws were already numb. I paid careful attention to only walk straight, so as not to lose my way home. But, not enough attention. After trudging through the snow for about three hours, I decided to go home. I turned 180 degrees and started walking. After an hour I realized something was wrong. I still couldn't see anything, but I just knew. "Great. Now I'll freeze to death instead o starving. I'd rather just die in my sleep or be crushed by a tree..." I thought. Remeber that saying, "Be carful what you wish for"? Well, I learned that the hard way. Only a few seconds after finnishing that thought, out of no where, lighning struck the tree next to me. After being fried instantly, the tree groaned and fell right toward me. I was frozen with fear, and physicly frozen too! I just shut my eyes and crouched in the snow, waiting to be squished. But nothing happened. After a few moments, I opened my eyes and almost fainted. The tree was still there, in mid fall but being held up by an arc of ice! "Wha- How di- What's going one?!?" I thought, then my instincts kicked in. Every ounce of my body screamed one thing: Run I obeyed. After running blindly for about ten minutes, my brain started working again. "Who did that? How? Why? Are they dangerous? Do they have shelter and food? Would they share?" So many questions flooded my head, I had to stop and think. I listened for any sound, but all I heard was the howling wind; I sniffed the air for anything different, but all I smelled was nature; I looked for something moving, but I could barley see. Finally, I realized the only explanation. It was me. Somehow I had made an arc of ice to stop the tree.
I sat there, in the snow, trying to accept that I had powers. "At least over ice." I thought. After finally coming to terms with that notion, I decided to see who had control of this new power, me or my instincts. I focused on the snow on the ground in front of my paws. The snow in front of me began to shift, it was piling on top of itself to make a small mound. Again, I almost fainted. I couldn't believe it, I had powers!! I played around, making little piles all over. "I'm such a dummy!!" I thought, and focused on the piles of snow I had made. Soon, there was some sort of shield around one of the piles. I focused on making it bigger, and soon all of the piles had a shield around them. I released the shield and relaxed for a few moments. Then, gathering my strength, I thought hard and made a shield around myself. It worked, the snow now pelted the shield instead of me, but I still couldn't see. "Hmmmm..." I thought. I dropped the shield and the snow flew into my face as if it was being held back and all of the sudden was released. I made a cone shape in font of me, and looked around. Now that I could see, I noticed that I hadn't strayed that much away from my cave entrance, but just enough to get lost. I headed back to my cave.
The next day the blizzard stopped and the rest of the week was wonderful. The snow melted, but I practiced my talent on my hot water spring. I'm getting better and stronger every day.

My quiet steps were unhurried and slow-paced as I moved locations through the dense, muggy forest. The only thing on my mind was emptiness. Nothingness. I felt nothing. At least that's what I thought, I heard a soft noise and I went faster, fear enveloping me now as I moved swifter through the trees.
If someone was following me I wasn't going to be happy.
I still kept going until I stopped abruptly, my feet coming to cold, hard stone. A cliff. I could feel the breeze more strongly here than in the forest where I usually stayed hidden, but the last few days I had felt an odd sort of tug, something calling me. It was rather odd to me, so I ignored it. But with that ignorance I got nightmares, terrors of the water enveloping me and holding me down, gasping for my nonexistant air.
I looked over my shoulder, feeling a presence, it was strange and my hair stood on end as I turned back to the cliff end and slowly my feet moved a little, as if against their own will. I could hear the waves pounding against the rocks below, and I dreaded to see them doing so. I then felt a soft breeze come over again, it almost sounded like a whisper to me. Beckoning me closer to the edge of the cliff. It was an entrancing sound and I stopped abruptly when I saw the sea now, it's waves angry and upset looking, it was rather dark already so the clouds hung heavily in the sky.
I then felt one of my front paws move again, meeting the rock roughly I let out a soft yelp. It was as if I had no control over what was happening. I heard the breeze whisper to me again, this time more autible for me, Let it come Frayoa..
I shut my eyes tightly, it was just like the voice form my nightmares. I tensed up to keep myself from moving, then something pushed me and I was off the cliff. I felt nothing, just my body hitting the water with a large splash. But I felt nothing still, no pain. No fear.
If anything I felt peace.
It was different than in my nightmares, the dark didn't seem as black, and the water did seem to be pulling me down at all, it was just peaceful. However, I almost felt at home in the water. I watched at bubbles ascended to the surface of the water, my eyes were of course open by now and I was looking around me, my lungs held as much air as they could but I didn't feel the need to breathe, I just felt me. It was if it was destiny, serindipity, conicidence? I wasn't sure about that, but I was sure that this was where I belonged, the sea was my place in this world.
I thrashed around for a moment as I pushed myself to the surface, bubbles streaming off my coat that didn't feel heavy like it did when it got wet. I let out a long breath once I got to the surface, the water had calmed almost as soon as I had hit the water, I didn't know why. But the water almost respected me as I floated there in the water, my paws not having to exert the energy usually needed to keep afloat in the liquid, it was like I was bouyant already.
I looked up, the clouds still looming above me in the sky, but they didn't look as omnious as they had before but still dark. I flinched when a drop of water fell onto my nose, head lifting higher to the sky to see drops of clear rain falling from the clouds, it sounded like clapping, the water falling against the liquid I was floating in.
The sky was happy for me. I then heard the breeze whisper to me again, You've done well Frayoa, Guardian of the Waters...

I was discovered when other tennagers kias where swimming in my river. I swam up to them. They where quite shocked. Well, i got to say, I was living forever in that river till they found me. I can breath under water. They took me outside and my life on ground beguined.

Well... I know my story by heart...My mum and my dad where having a fight in the forest with me. i was a baby, and by accident my mum pushed me and I fell in the water. I could only saw the top of the water getting smaller and smaller as I went down. I could hear my mum crying my name, until i was too deep to hear. I saw her head in the water, looking under water or me. But... I was too deep for her to see me and i couldn't do any signs, i was a baby... I just remaindered me closing my eyes. After a while, I woke up, and... well... A big salmon had adopted me. I was around salmon eggs, and, to my surprise, I could breath easily under water. And I lived in the river forever until I found these Kiamaras and i came out of the water.
